Actor Scott L. Schwartz<\/strong>, best known for his role as Bruiser in the Ocean\u2019s Eleven<\/em><\/a> franchise, has died at the age of 65.<\/p>\n

Schwartz died from congestive heart failure on November 26 at his home in Covington, Louisiana, per The Hollywood Reporter<\/em><\/a> and Variety<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

Schwartz\u2019s Ocean\u2019s<\/em> costar George Clooney<\/a><\/strong> paid tribute to the actor in a statement. \u201cI\u2019m sorry to hear that Scott is gone,\u201d Clooney, 63, said. \u201cWe did three films together and I\u2019ve never been so gently punched. He was a gentle soul and he will be dearly missed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Schwartz played Bruiser in 2001\u2019s Ocean\u2019s Eleven<\/em> and reprised his role alongside Clooney, Matt Damon<\/strong> and Brad Pitt<\/strong> in Ocean\u2019s Twelve<\/em> (2004) and Ocean\u2019s Thirteen<\/em> (2007). Before becoming a stuntman and actor, he was a professional wrestler under the monikers The Israeli Commando and Giant David.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tHollywood mourned many celebrities in 2024. Speed Racer star Christian Oliver (born Christian Klepser) died at the age of 51 during a fatal plane crash on January 5. Oliver was traveling home from a Caribbean vacation with his two daughters \u2014 Madita and Annik, whom he shared with wife Jessica Klepser \u2014 on January 4. [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cMost people associate Scott with the movies, but those who know him personally associated him with being a jolly person, so full of life, a strong loving person, foodie and travel aficionado,\u201d Schwartz\u2019s widow, Misty<\/strong>, said.<\/p>\n

\u201cScott truly loved life and everyone that he met along the way. When he wasn\u2019t acting, wrestling or telling jokes he spent his time visiting children with cancer at children\u2019s hospitals,\u201d she concluded.<\/p>\n

Actor Rick Zahn<\/strong> shared<\/a> a photo of him and Schwartz via Instagram on Wednesday, November 27, and wrote, \u201cToday the world lost a good man. The acting community lost a terrific actor. The law enforcement community in Los Angeles lost a good ambassador and community spokesperson. The breast cancer community lost a staunch supporter. A woman lost a devoted husband. And I lost a dear friend.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAt 6\u201910\u201d, Scott was one of the rare few I looked up to. But it wasn\u2019t just because he was actually taller. It was because of his heart. He lived life with passion. And he adored his wife, Misty,\u201d Zahn continued. \u201cScott has battled ill health these past couple of years. But with Misty at his side, Scott peacefully transitioned. The suffering is over.\u201d<\/p>\n
