Before fans watched Joey Graziadei<\/strong><\/a> and Kelsey Anderson<\/strong><\/a> get engaged during The Bachelor<\/em><\/a> season 28 finale, they were convinced that he got down on one knee for runner-up Daisy Kent<\/strong><\/a>. Kelsey remained quiet about the false reports, but now she admits it was \u201chard\u201d to see the incorrect spoiler circulating online.<\/p>\n \u201cAt the beginning, it was a little hard because I was like, \u2018Oh my gosh. Is he sure he wants me? What if he has second thoughts?\u2019\u201d Kelsey, 26, said during the November 27 episode of \u201cThe Squeeze\u201d podcast. \u201cAfter a certain point of Joey reassuring me and telling me like, \u2018I want this to work. It was going to be you. I was always going to be you,\u2019 in a sense, I feel like Joey and I had built a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n The Louisiana native later admitted that she is \u201cglad\u201d that her and Joey\u2019s relationship was \u201chard at the beginning.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNow I\u2019m like, \u2018Whatever.\u2019 In my mind, people that are over critiquing me and being hateful in that way, you need more hobbies,\u201d Kelsey continued. \u201cI don\u2019t think that people that are really happy care about other people.\u201d<\/p>\n Three months before Joey\u2019s season of The Bachelor<\/em> premiered in January, blogger Reality Steve<\/strong> falsely reported that Daisy, 26, and Joey, 29, got engaged at the end of filming.<\/p>\n \u201cJoey and Daisy got engaged in Tulum, Mexico, at the end of the season. Obviously, the finale won\u2019t air until mid-March so who knows what can happen in the next four months,\u201d the November 29, 2023 report read. \u201cBut this is how the season ended. Have no proof that I can share, which I usually never do without outing any sources, so here it is.\u201d<\/p>\n The Bachelor Nation blogger admitted his wrongs in February, writing, \u201cNo beating around the bush here. The spoiler is wrong. Joey is engaged to Kelsey A. and has been since filming ended.\u201d<\/p>\n What actually happened, as fans witnessed, was Daisy self-eliminated during her final moment with Joey on the beach in Tulum. Shortly after their teary-eyed goodbye, Joey got down on one knee for Kelsey and she said, \u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n Kelsey and Joey\u2019s relationship wasn\u2019t the only thing that came out of The Bachelor<\/em>. Her friendship with Daisy was just as beautiful.<\/p>\n In March, Kesley detailed the final car ride<\/a> she shared with Daisy on The Bachelor<\/em>, a moment that will seemingly stick with her forever.<\/p>\n \u201cWe just were really embracing each other and just telling each other how amazing each other were,\u201d Kelsey told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> at the time. \u201cAnd she just really wanted Joey and I to be happy and she was like, \u2018Don\u2019t worry about me.\u2019 She knows how I am and I was going to be thinking about her, just like how she would be in that situation as well.
