The 40-year-old star – who has daughter True, six, and two-year-old Tatum with her former partner Tristan Thompson – is part of the reality television dynasty now thought to have a combined net worth of $2 billion but admitted that it can be tough to resist the urge to “expand your lifestyle” as further wealth is accumulated. <\/p>\n
Khloe – who is thought to have a personal net worth of $60 million – told Bustle: “So obviously we all do things for money to a degree, but it is a vicious cycle because you have to be very strong-willed not to expand your lifestyle. The more money you make, the more expenses you have. It\u2019s hard to get off that train. I\u2019m more motivated by time with my kids. “<\/p>\n
The Good American founder wants to continue earning money so she can continue to give her children the affluent lifestyle they have been born into and joked that she is unlikely to ever retire. <\/p>\n
She said: “There are so many things that I could be doing that I don\u2019t do because my children matter to me. And being, for a lack of a better word, a single mother \u2014 I know I have Tristan, but he lives in Cleveland because he plays basketball there \u2014 I want to be present for my kids. That\u2019s my number one. And then obviously number two is making money to continue the lifestyle that I\u2019ve afforded them already. And I\u2019m 40, so I have to keep it up for the next\u2026 at least 40 years!”<\/p>\n
\nKhloe shot to fame alongside her sisters Kourtney, 45, and Kim, 44, as well as their “momager” Kris Jenner when they appeared on ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ on E! in 2007.<\/p>\n
\nThe show ran until 2021 and the family has since starred in ‘The Kardashians’ for Hulu, which debuted on Hulu the following year.<\/p>\n
\nKhloe still “loves” doing the show now because it means she gets to spend time with her family but has “no idea” how long it will all run for as she mused that perhaps the younger generation will take over at some point. <\/p>\n
\nShe said: “God, my 50s. That\u2019s crazy. I love doing the show for so many reasons. If it weren\u2019t for the show, we probably wouldn\u2019t see each other as much as we do. Although we live in the same community, life gets away from you. So for that reason, I love it. I love documenting memories. It\u2019s almost like I have really expensive home videos. But I don\u2019t think that far ahead. Maybe the kids will take over. I have no idea.”<\/p>\n
