Danica Patrick<\/strong><\/a> shared the graphic aftermath of a trip to Starbucks gone wrong.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The former NASCAR driver, 42, shared a series of shocking images via Instagram Story on Sunday, December 1 after some scalding water apparently did some damage.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDay 1 coffee burn,\u201d Patrick posted alongside a picture of her burned left thigh. She added \u201cStarbucks \ud83d\udd95\ud83c\udffd.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The photo showed a circular burn mark with a large area of redness surrounding it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAnyone else think their hot water is way the hell to [sic] hot?\u201d Patrick asked, providing a bit more insight into what happened.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On the third day post-burn, Patrick posted another image of her thigh which showed an intense red circle with the area surrounding the burn mark beginning to scar.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDay 3,\u201d she captioned the picture, which included a meme of Kristen Wiig<\/strong>\u2019s Target Lady character from Saturday Night Live<\/i> looking on in disgust.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The former race car driver shared one final image of the burn, this one with a large bandage covering the area. \u201cCute, might delete later,\u201d she wrote.<\/span><\/p>\n

Patrick has been busy since officially ending her racing career in 2018, most recently as an on-air host for UK\u2019s Sky Sports\u2019 coverage of Formula 1.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI am now nocturnal after that schedule \ud83e\udd2a but we had a lot of fun!!!!!\u201d Patrick posted via Instagram<\/a> on Monday, November 25 after working the F1 Grand Prix in Las Vegas. \u201c@maxverstappen1 is now 4 time champ\u2026. In a row!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of Sky Sports\u2019 coverage, Patrick jumped out of an airplane to celebrate the big race in Vegas. \u201cThis was a race opener!!! \ud83d\udef6 \ud83d\udee9\ufe0f \ud83d\ude81 \ud83e\ude82,\u201d she wrote alongside the crazy video via Instagram<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
