Ariana Grande<\/strong><\/a> made it clear she\u2019s in a healthy place with her body.<\/p>\n On Tuesday, April 11, the pop sensation took to TikTok<\/a> to address fan backlash over her thin figure and why she feels people should stay away<\/a> from commenting on other people\u2019s appearances.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p> Grande began by saying how she\u2019s bad at speaking on these issues publicly<\/a>, but wanted \u201cto address your concerns about my body and talk a little bit about what it means to be a person with a body and to be seen and to be paid such close attention to.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe should be gentler and less comfortable commenting<\/a> on people\u2019s bodies, no matter what,\u201d the Grammy Award winner explained, before adding, \u201cThere are ways to compliment someone or to ignore something you see that you don\u2019t like.\u201d<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p> \u201cThe body that you\u2019ve been comparing my current body to was the unhealthiest version of my body,\u201d Grande said of her figure over the years \u2014 in which, she navigated the horrific Manchester bombing in 2017 that killed 22 people and the sudden death of ex-boyfriend Mac Miller<\/strong><\/a>. \u201cI was on a lot of antidepressants and drinking on them and eating poorly and at the lowest point of my life when I looked the way<\/a> you consider my \u2018healthy.\u2019 But that in fact wasn\u2019t my \u2018healthy.’\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYou never know what someone is going through,\u201d the Wicked<\/em> actress continued. \u201cSo even if you are coming from a loving place and a caring place, that person probably is working on it or has a support system that they are working<\/a> on it with.\u201d<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cI think you\u2019re beautiful no matter what you\u2019re going through<\/a>,\u201d she made clear. \u201cNo matter what weight, no matter how you like to do your makeup these days, no matter what cosmetic procedures you\u2019ve had or not, or anything, yeah I just think you\u2019re beautiful and wanted to share some feelings.\u201d<\/p>\n Grande\u2019s loyal fans expressed concern for her health after the 29-year-old stepped out with costar Cynthia Erivo<\/strong><\/a> in London to see Jeff Goldblum<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s concert last week.<\/p>\n Never miss a story \u2014 sign up for the <\/strong><\/em>OK!<\/strong><\/em><\/a> newsletter to stay up-to-date on the best of what OK! has to offer.
