Andy Cohen<\/a><\/strong> believes all good shows must come to an end \u2014 or at the very least pivot.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn RHONY<\/i>\u2018s case, we had 13 seasons of a show that was so beloved and so great,\u201d Cohen, 56, said on the Monday, December 2, episode of SiriusXM\u2019s Andy Cohen Live<\/i><\/a>. \u201cAnd it went on and on, and sometimes for a show, it\u2019s the end of the road or it\u2019s time to curve or swerve or pivot, and that\u2019s where we were with RHONY<\/i> and that is what is happening with Vanderpump Rules<\/i><\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

On November 26, Bravo announced that season 12<\/a> of Vanderpump Rules<\/i> will feature <\/b>Lisa Vanderpump<\/strong> and a whole new group of \u201cclose-knit SUR-vers who are as complicatedly involved with one another as their iconic predecessors.\u201d<\/p>\n

In March 2022, the cable network did something similar when they announced the 14th season of The Real Housewives of New York City<\/i> would be a reboot with a brand-new cast.<\/p>\n

While many fans are still adjusting to the news, Cohen wanted to give credit to the cast and crew who made Vanderpump Rules<\/i> so successful for so long.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so impressed with how production kept the show going over the last, I\u2019m gonna say four years, when slowly but surely none of them were working at SUR,\u201d Cohen explained. \u201cThe entire point of the show morphed and changed as it went on, and it wound up that James Kennedy<\/strong> was the only one with any kind of footprint at SUR, because he was DJing there occasionally and now he\u2019s gone on and he\u2019s got a residency in Las Vegas and he\u2019s having great success and they\u2019re all having good success outside of SUR.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cohen confirmed that several Vanderpump Rules<\/i> cast members \u201chave very, very organically moved onto The Valley<\/i>.\u201d Us<\/i> previously reported<\/a> that Scheana Shay<\/strong> and Lala Kent<\/strong> filmed scenes for season 2.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Ariana Madix<\/strong> and Katie Maloney<\/strong> continue finding success with their sandwich shop, Something About Her. As for Tom Sandoval<\/strong>, he will appear in season 3 of The Traitors<\/i> in January 2025.<\/p>\n

Overall, Cohen said the changes to Vanderpump Rules<\/i> were \u201cthe absolute right thing to do\u201d and a \u201cvery smart programming move.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so impressed with the gang from Vanderpump Rules<\/i>,\u201d he said. \u201cThe production team and the folks on the show. Specifically, the folks on the show who always remained very true to themselves, like it or hate it or like them or hate them. They were always very much themselves, and that\u2019s what made that show so entertaining and surprising season after season.\u201d<\/p>\n
