The Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh<\/em> premiered in January 2004, launching The Amanda Show<\/em> alums Drake Bell<\/strong> <\/a>and Josh Peck<\/strong><\/a> to mainstream teen stardom and introducing audiences to Miranda Cosgrove<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI met Miranda Cosgrove when she was 9 years old, like, auditioning to play my little sister. Ten years after the show wrapped in 2007, Bell took to social media to hint that he was hurt by not being invited to Peck\u2019s June 2017 nuptials<\/a> to Paige O\u2019Brien<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cTrue colors have come out today,\u201d the \u201cI Know\u201d musician wrote in a since-deleted tweet. \u201cMessage is loud and clear. I\u2019ll miss you brother.\u201d<\/p>\n A source told Us Weekly<\/em> at the time that the duo hadn\u2019t spoken in three years<\/a>. \u201cJosh was really hurt,\u201d the insider said. \u201cThey aren\u2019t close anymore and Josh had a very small wedding.\u201d<\/p>\n The two actors buried the hatchet later that year and shared a photo of them embracing at the MTV VMAs<\/a> in August. \u201cHug me \u2026,\u201d they both captioned the snap, referencing their Drake & Josh<\/em> catchphrase.<\/p>\n Despite the sweet moment, the former costars continued to have beef in subsequent years<\/a>. In March 2022, Bell and his wife, Janet Von Schmeling<\/strong><\/a>, talked about a Drake & Josh<\/em> reboot script allegedly written by Peck on an episode of their podcast, \u201cDrake & Janet.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt wasn\u2019t the best. Josh wrote Drake as a failed musician and Josh wrote himself as a real estate agent<\/a>.
