The \u2018Batman\u2019 actor, 52, has been seen with the actress, also 52, a string of times amid his divorce divorce from singer Jennifer Lopez<\/a>, 55, and the couple reunited again for the holiday with their three children Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.<\/p>\n

A source has now told Page Six Ben was overjoyed to spend Thanksgiving with his family as he feels as if he can \u201cjust be himself\u201d around Jennifer and their kids.<\/p>\n

The pair not only enjoyed family time over Thanksgiving \u2013 they also partnered up with the Midnight Mission good cause during the day to help feed 2,000 homeless and near-homeless people in downtown Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

A source added to Page Six the couple \u201cenjoyed Thanksgiving dinner together\u201d with their three children after the hand outs were completed. <\/p>\n

\nThey said: \u201cEven though Ben and Jen have been split for a while now, he feels a certain level of comfort with her.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cBen has a strong relationship with Jen that will never dissipate because they have a lot of history together and she\u2019s the mother of his kids.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nThe source spoke after a separate insider said Ben spent Thanksgiving with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner to comfort her over the death of their family dog Birdie.<\/p>\n

\nThe actress announced the death of her beloved nine-year-old golden retriever on Instagram a day before the annual holiday, and it has now been reported it helped spark a reunion between the couple.<\/p>\n

\nA source told RadarOnline.com: \u201cJennifer\u2019s grief is profound and Ben said (he was) more than happy to spend time with her over Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n
