Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> teased that she\u2019s already looking forward to her next chapter. In The Eras Tour Book<\/em>, which was released exclusively at Target on Friday, November 29, she wrote a note about the record-breaking tour and hinted that there\u2019s another era coming.<\/p>\n \u201cSee you next era,\u201d Taylor, 34, wrote at the end of the note, which was featured on the book\u2019s back cover. Although the pop star still has two rerecorded albums to release \u2013 Reputation<\/em> and Taylor Swift<\/em> \u2013 fans are now already looking forward to the next new thing<\/a> she has in store.<\/p>\n \u201cSEE YOU NEXT ERA???????? GIRL,\u201d one person wrote on X, while another added, \u201c\u201cSee you next era\u2026\u201d is that a threat?\u201d Someone else also pointed out, \u201c\u201cSee you next era\u2026\u201d feels like a not so far away promise.\u201d<\/p>\n In the lengthy back cover note, Taylor reflected on coming up with the idea for the Eras tour following the release of her 2022 album Midnights<\/em>. \u201cI told [my team] that I want to fully commit to each era, musically, stylistically and aesthetically,\u201d Taylor explained. \u201cThey should feel like time capsules. If we do this right, I said, we can celebrate and honor both new fans and fans who have been here since day one.\u201d<\/p>\n Taylor pointed out all that she had done in the six years since the Reputation<\/em> tour, including rerecording her first six albums, which she said \u201cmade [her] fall back in love\u201d with her past. \u201cRevisiting that past work<\/a> made me want to honor it and honor what the fans have done for me with the Taylor\u2019s Version<\/em> albums,\u201d she continued. \u201cAnd so the new albums and my rerecords left me with the dilemma: HOW on Earth are we going to play all of this music<\/a> live?\u201d<\/p>\n She added that her goal with the Eras tour was to have \u201cevery fan leave that show knowing I gave them absolutely everything I had.\u201d However, it took her being \u201cphysically and mentally tougher\u201d than ever before and \u201cmore disciplined to [her] health, fitness and stamina\u201d in order to put on the 3 hour and 15 minute show each night.<\/p>\n After pointing out that she and her crew played the show in all sorts of brutal weather conditions \u2013 blazing heat, rain and freezing cold \u2013 Taylor explained why it was all worth it. \u201cWe do it because we love having the rare opportunity to create happiness and wonder up on that stage,\u201d she concluded. \u201cWe do it because we know it takes time and effort and money and energy to plan out coming to a concert. We do it because every friendship bracelet traded has the potential to become a new friend, and you never know what dreams can be sparked if we succeed in painting a dreamscape in every city we visit. We do it because people need an escape from how brutal life can be, and it is the honor of a lifetime to be that for them, if only for a night. And although we are all on our own in this big scary life, somehow it doesn\u2019t feel that way when we\u2019re singing the same words as 80,000 other people wearing glittery face paint. We do it because life comes in waves, in phases, in brilliant flurries of magical moments, and all of these things come together to create \u2026 Eras.\u201d<\/p>\n The Eras tour began in March 2023 and spanned five continents with 152 total tour dates. Taylor will conclude the tour with three shows in Vancouver, Canada, on December 6, 7, and 8.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
