Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a> is weighing in on Kansas City Chiefs teammate Tershawn Wharton<\/strong>\u2019s heroic act during the Chiefs\u2019 Sunday, November 24, game<\/a> against the Carolina Panthers.<\/p>\n

Wharton went viral over the weekend<\/a> after being filmed catching a young fan who fell from the bleachers while trying to greet the victorious Chiefs following their 30-27 victory over the Panthers<\/a>\u00a0at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.<\/p>\n

On the Wednesday, November 27, episode of the \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast<\/a>, Travis and brother Jason Kelce<\/strong><\/a> praised Wharton for his quick thinking as the little boy tumbled over the bleachers overlooking the players\u2019 tunnel.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlay of the game from Tershawn Wharton,\u201d Jason, 37, said on the podcast, per TalkSport<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The couple\u2019s unlikely love story began on an episode of the Kelces\u2019 \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast in July 2023 when Travis revealed that he tried to [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Travis, 35, meanwhile, admitted that he saw the moment unfold.<\/p>\n

\u201cI actually saw this and I kept on moving \u2026 I felt bad after,\u201d the Chiefs tight end told his brother. \u201cI was to the left and I was like, \u2018Oh s\u2014. You got him, Turk? Hell yeah, Turk\u2019s got him!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Travis went on to joke that the young boy should \u201csue the Panthers.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know who the brainiac was that cut the railing there. What the f\u2014 is the gap for?\u201d he said. \u201cHe should f\u2014ing go to school with a neck brace on and sue the Panthers. Get rich quick, kid.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShout-out to Turk for making sure the little guy was alright,\u201d he ended on a more serious note.<\/p>\n

Wharton, 26, spoke about his heroic save on the Tuesday, November 26, episode of ESPN\u2019s The Pat McAfee Sho<\/em>w.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would say it\u2019s natural reaction,\u201d he said, per TODAY.com<\/a>. \u201cI heard my name a little bit and when I heard my name, I seen him coming down. I just had to kind of like push him into the stands a little bit to make sure he didn\u2019t hit too hard.\u201d<\/p>\n
