Say it ain\u2019t so!<\/p>\n

The Holiday<\/em><\/a> star Jude Law<\/strong><\/a> just dropped a huge bombshell about the iconic holiday movie. More specifically, that dreamy country cottage Cameron Diaz<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s character, Amanda Woods, swaps her Los Angeles pad for.<\/p>\n

During an appearance on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Sho<\/em>w on the U.K.\u2019s BBC Radio 2 on Friday, November 22, Law, 51, was asked if the Surrey-based cottage is available for fans to rent on Airbnb. And, well, brace yourselves.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat cottage doesn\u2019t exist,\u201d the British actor said to shocked gasps from host Zoe Ball<\/strong> and fellow guest, comedian Kerry Godliman<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cWhat?!\u201d Ball and Godliman expressed their shock, prompting Law to reveal the behind-the-scenes trickery used to shoot the scenes between Amanda and his character, Graham Simpkins, in the cozy cottage.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, the director [Nancy Meyers<\/strong><\/a>], she\u2019s a bit of a perfectionist,\u201d Law explained. \u201c[She] toured that whole area and didn\u2019t quite find the chocolate box cottage she was looking for, so she just hired a field, drew it, and had someone build it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Law continued to crush fans\u2019 dreams by revealing that the wintery scenes weren\u2019t even filmed in the U.K.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tCameron Diaz and Kate Winslet were already majorly famous before they starred in The Holiday, but the 2006 film is still one of their most beloved projects (for good reason). The Nancy Meyers-directed movie follows two unlucky-in-love women who trade houses for the holiday season. Of course, romance ensues for Amanda (Diaz) and Iris (Winslet) [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cBut here\u2019s the funny thing, if you watch it \u2026 so we were shooting it in winter here [in Britain],\u201d the actor said. \u201cAnd every time I\u2019d go in that door, we cut and we shot the interiors in L.A. about three months later.\u201d<\/p>\n

It was one revelation too far for Ball and Godliman, who urged Law to stop speaking. \u201cWe can\u2019t bear it!\u201d quipped Ball.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust burst the bubble. Sorry!\u201d Law responded.<\/p>\n
