Dolly<\/strong> wasn\u2019t sure that her goddaughter was old enough for the subject matter.<\/p>\n \u201cShe goes, \u2018I don\u2019t know if I like that new \u2018Used to Be Young\u2019 song because it\u2019s not fair that you\u2019re singing about not being young when you\u2019re young and beautiful. And here I am\u2014I\u2019m like 80\u2014and I\u2019m like, That should have been my song,\u2019\u201d Miley<\/strong> told Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/a>.<\/p>\n The singer opened up about her own reservations, too.<\/p>\n \u201cI actually listened to that song yesterday, and I was asking myself, \u2018Did I really need to put this out,\u2019\u201d Miley<\/strong> admitted. \u201cIt was one of those things that maybe now that I\u2019m a bit more private, I would\u2019ve kept private, but I\u2019m happy to have shared it.
