2024 CMA nominee Jelly Roll<\/strong><\/a> reflected on walking away from the show with zero awards, sharing that Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> inspired him to keep pushing harder.<\/p>\n \u201cI seeen a clip the other day of Taylor Swift when she found out her album Reputation<\/em> was not nominated for album of the year at the Grammys and her first response was \u2018it\u2019s OK, I just have to make a better record\u2019 \u2013 man that lit a fire under me in a way I\u2019ve never had lit,\u201d Jelly, 39, captioned his Thursday, November 21, Instagram post. \u201cThat was ultimate accountability in action in the real moment and that\u2019s why Taylor is the legend she is. That was all said to say, I\u2019m going to write a better album, I\u2019m Going to work harder and I\u2019ll be back baby, I will be back. PS REPUTATION was one of the greatest albums ever written.\u201d<\/p>\n Jelly was nominated for Album of the Year for his 2023 album Whitsitt Chapel<\/em>, Male Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year. Chris Stapleton<\/strong> was crowned Male Vocalist of the Year, Morgan Wallen<\/strong> took home Entertainer of the Year and Cody Johnson<\/strong>\u2019s Leather<\/em> was named the Album of the Year.<\/p>\n Earlier in the \u201cSon of a Sinner\u201d singer\u2019s caption, he gave all three artists their flowers.<\/p>\n \u201cI know I don\u2019t have to say this but, just so we are clear \u2013 Chris Stapleton was and always will be the Male Vocalist of the year as long as he is alive and I think we all agree about that,\u201d Jelly wrote.<\/p>\n The \u201cWild Ones\u201d artist got excited while addressing Morgan, 31, his \u201cEast Tennessee brother, writing, \u201cNo one has done more for country music in the last quarter of a century than Morgan has.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd Cody, my brother and one of my best friends Cody Johnson, your album Leather is truly one of my favorite albums recorded in the last decade, any win for you is a win for me, you deserved this one, and now I can brag that I\u2019m one of the only features on the CMA<\/a> album of the year,\u201d Jelly wrote.<\/p>\n Despite the outcome of the nominations, Jelly rocked Nashville, Tennessee\u2019s Bridgestone Arena, during his soul-touching performance with Brooks and Dunn.
