These Bilt points can then be <a href=\"https:\/\/thepointsguy.com\/loyalty-programs\/a-guide-to-earning-transferable-points\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">redeemed to book travel with airlines and hotels<\/a>, purchase home decor, pay for fitness classes and more.<\/p>\n<p>So, how does Bilt&#8217;s new points-earning benefit work? Keep reading to find out how you can be rewarded on your next home purchase.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"how-to-earn-bilt-points-when-buying-a-home\" class=\"jsx-2362441780 anchor\"\/><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"jsx-2362441780\">How to earn Bilt points when buying a home<\/h2>\n<p>If you currently rent a home, apartment or condo, you can earn 250 points per monthly rent payment made through the Bilt App at an in-network property using a non-Bilt card; therefore, for one year of paying rent, you&#8217;ll earn up to 3,000 Bilt points. However, if you currently hold the <span class=\"jsx-eb69f9b09a3de1d0 jsx-eea0d1f218f5e80b\"><a href=\"https:\/\/thepointsguy.com\/apply-now\/bilt-mastercard\/?tid=post\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"jsx-eb69f9b09a3de1d0 jsx-eea0d1f218f5e80b applyLink inherit\">Bilt Mastercard\u00ae<\/a><\/span> (see <a href=\"https:\/\/thepointsguy.com\/apply\/bilt-mastercard-rates-fees\/?tid=post\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">rates and fees<\/a>), you can earn 1 point per dollar spent on your rent payments (up to 100,000 points per calendar year). When working with an eXp Realty agent, Bilt members will earn 1 point for every $2 of a home&#8217;s purchase price.
