\t\t<\/p>\n The Wicked<\/strong><\/a><\/em> movie is finally in theaters and Ariana Grande<\/strong><\/a> is gaining rave reviews for her performance as Glinda, a role she got over many other actresses.<\/p>\n Four stars have confirmed that they auditioned to play Glinda in Wicked<\/em>, though we\u2019re pretty sure there were dozens of others who were up for the role as well.<\/p>\n \u201cI think one of the most overlooked facts of the #WickedMovie Casting was that EVERYONE HAD to audition. NO straight offers & they showed up! It was incredibly humbling to witness these actors spill their guts on the floor for this movie,\u201d director Jon M. Chu<\/strong>revealed last year. \u201cCynthia and Ariana EARNED their roles and brought our little audition room to tears multiple times throughout the process. I can\u2019t believe I had the privilege of witnessing the birth of their Elphaba and Galinda.
