There\u2019s a good reason Angelina Jolie<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s fans rarely see her daughter Shiloh<\/strong><\/a>, as the actress revealed just how private the teen prefers to keep her life.<\/p>\n

Angelina, 49, appeared on Good Morning America<\/em><\/a> on Thursday, November 21, to promote her new movie, Maria<\/em>. When Michael Strahan<\/strong> asked if any of her 6 children had caught the acting bug, she responded, \u201cnone\u201d of her kids \u201cwant to be in front of the camera.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are quite private<\/a>,\u201d Angelina explained, adding \u201cShiloh is extremely private,\u201d about her first-born child with ex-husband Brad Pitt<\/strong>. The former couple share three adopted children and three biological children.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey weren\u2019t born with privacy,\u201d the Wanted<\/em> actress added. \u201cSo, I hope they can have that as they get older.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shiloh, 18, hasn\u2019t appeared on a red carpet with her mom in three years. The last time she joined the Oscar winner was for the Los Angeles premiere of MSNBC Films\u2019 Paper & Glue<\/em> in November 2021.<\/p>\n

That event was casual, with Shiloh wearing a black hoodie and jeans with her hair pulled back. However, she blew fans away during her mom\u2019s Eternals<\/em> promotional tour the month prior, wearing dresses and makeup<\/a> in public for the first time.<\/p>\n

Shiloh went glam on red carpets in Rome, London and Hollywood in October of 2021.<\/p>\n

The teen changed up her look by January 2023, when she sported a newly cropped buzzcut<\/a>, a baggy sweatshirt and no makeup when paparazzi caught up with her during an outing in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

Ever since, Shiloh has rarely been photographed, keeping a low profile. She regularly attends dance classes at the Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles. Several videos of her showing off her moves<\/a> have made their way to Instagram by fellow students or choreographers over the years, although they are often quickly taken down to insure Shiloh\u2019s privacy.<\/p>\n

While Shiloh stopped making public appearances with her mom, her younger brother, Knox, seemed to break his own privacy wishes to accompany Angelina to the Governor\u2019s Ball on November 17. It was his first public appearance in three years, last joining Angelina at the Eternals<\/em> London premiere on October 27, 2021.<\/p>\n

Knox, 16, made for a very dapper date, wearing a tuxedo in public for the first time as he smiled and posed along with his mom.<\/p>\n

During her GMA<\/em> interview, Angelina gushed about being a mom, saying of motherhood, \u201cIt\u2019s my happiness. You can take everything else away from me. Nothing else matters.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Salt<\/em> star\u2019s two oldest sons, Maddox<\/strong> and Pax<\/strong>, started working behind the scenes on her movies, starting with her 2017 directorial effort, First They Killed My Father<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The brothers worked on Maria<\/em> in the assistant directing department. Angelina spoke of how much Maddox, 23, and Pax, 20, helped calm her nerves when she had to sing life for the first time while shooting the film about legendary opera singer Maria Callas.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was terribly nervous. I spent almost seven months training,\u201d Angelina explained during a press call at the Venice Film Festival on August 29. \u201cMy first time singing, I remember being so nervous. My sons were there and they helped to block the door [so] that nobody else was coming in, and I was shaky.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd [director Pablo Larra\u00edn<\/strong>], in his decency, started me in a small room and ended me in La Scala,\u201d she added. \u201cSo, he gave me time to grow. I was frightened to live up to [Callas].\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
