Saturday Night Live<\/i> alum Ana Gasteyer<\/strong><\/a> recalled how Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs<\/strong><\/a> made life hell for the show\u2019s cast and writers during an appearance as musical guest.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During a Wednesday, November 20 appearance on the \u201cLas Culturistas\u201d<\/a> podcast, cohosted by SNL<\/i>\u2019s Bowen Yang<\/strong> and comedian Matt Rogers<\/strong>, Gasteyer, 57, said Diddy, 55, \u201cshut down like the whole building\u201d when he appeared on the sketch show in May 1998.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou can tell the five a<\/span>\u2014\u2014- <\/span>in the six years that I was there when they would be like, \u2018So and so is in the building, everybody stay in your dressing rooms!\u2019\u201d Gasteyer recalled on the episode. \u201cWhich is applicable if you\u2019re a presidential candidate. But apart from that, really it\u2019s my<\/i> house.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Gasteyer \u2014 who appeared on Saturday Night Live<\/i> from 1996 to 2002 \u2014 alleged Diddy required \u201ca totally closed set.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tYears before two of Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs\u2019 homes were raided in connection to a federal sex trafficking investigation, there was conversation about what went on at the rapper\u2019s residences. After the March 2024 raid made headlines, a clip resurfaced of Usher recalling his experience living with Diddy as a teenager. \u201cI got a chance to [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Diddy performed \u201cCome With Me\u201d on the episode, which sampled Led Zeppelin\u2019s legendary song \u201cKashmir.\u201d The rapper was joined by Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page<\/strong> and a 40-piece orchestra for the bombastic performance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The demand did not sit well with some of the show\u2019s performers and staff members, so they found a humorous way to push back.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Gasteyer, it was suggested during a writers\u2019 room meeting that cast member Will Ferrell<\/strong> \u2014 who was dressed in costume as\u00a0 \u201cRon,\u201d a character who appeared in a couple of \u201cMango\u201d sketches alongside cast member Chris Kattan<\/strong> \u2014 break into the \u201csealed set.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThey were like, \u2018Wouldn\u2019t it be so funny if Ron just went in?\u2019 And he did,\u201d Gasteyer claimed. \u201cHe went on down the stairs and he marched right in.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Gasteyer boasted she even still has the alleged video \u201cfrom the control room where Sean Combs is rapping [during rehearsal] and Ron is walking around looking really disoriented.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Calling it \u201cthe greatest thing that\u2019s ever happened,\u201d Gasteyer claimed Diddy did not take kindly to his rehearsal time being crashed.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHe did not roll with it,\u201d Gasteyer said. \u201cHe was very uncomfortable.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tCelebrities are weighing in following the recent arrest of Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs. The music mogul was taken into custody in New York on September 16. The following day, a 14-page indictment alleging that Diddy \u201cabused, threatened and coerced women and others around him\u201d was made public. The rapper has since entered a not guilty plea [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ferrell, 57 \u2014 who appeared on Saturday Night Live<\/i> from 1995 to 2002 \u2014 has previously backed up Gasteyer\u2019s story.<\/span><\/p>\n
