Amanda Batula<\/strong><\/a> and Kyle Cooke<\/strong><\/a> are happily married \u2014 but if that weren\u2019t the case, Batula has the perfect match for Cooke: Summer House<\/em><\/a>\u2019s Lindsay Hubbard<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The couple exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> how \u201cprotective\u201d they both are over Hubbard, who is pregnant with her first baby<\/a>, so much so that strangers might think Cooke, 42, is the baby daddy.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt her baby shower, I kept on being like, \u2018Oh my God, I\u2019m having a kid,\u2019\u201d Cooke said with a laugh while attending the Amazon\u2019s Holiday Soir\u00e9e with host Kelsea Ballerini<\/strong> on November 14, which he also DJed.<\/p>\n

Batula, 33, teased that her husband\u2019s actions at the shower<\/a> raised a few eyebrows. \u201cKyle was getting so close that I was like, \u2018If someone didn\u2019t know you guys, they would think that like you were the father of her child.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

She joked, \u201cIn another universe, I swear they\u2019d be together.\u201d (Batula and Cooke tied the knot<\/a> in September 2021.)<\/p>\n

Cooke, however, wasn\u2019t totally sure of that, replying, \u201cOh, I don\u2019t know. It\u2019d be like fire on fire.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cooke and Hubbard, 38, have been friends since Summer House<\/em> premiered in 2017. The pair have been vocal about their brother-sister dynamic over the years, which is why they often feud on screen<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After Hubbard announced in July that she is expecting her first baby, a little girl, with a\u00a0boyfriend who opts not to be on the show<\/a>, Cooke and Batula have had her back even more.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a great time filming with Lindsay this summer [for season 9]<\/a>. I feel like we\u2019re all also just, like, growing up and maturing,\u201d Batula exclusively told Us<\/em> at the Amazon\u2019s Holiday Soir\u00e9e. \u201cWe all felt very protective of her.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cThere was a certain level of protection that we all felt that we as a collective group were all, we were having a baby. All of us. Lindsay was the one carrying, but we were all having this baby.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the Summer House<\/em> cast enjoyed shooting the upcoming season of the Bravo series, Cooke and Batula<\/a> said they haven\u2019t seen their costars much in recent months.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSummer House stars Paige DeSorbo and Amanda Batula won\u2019t let anything come between them. As DeSorbo\u2019s boyfriend, Craig Conover, and Batula\u2019s husband, Kyle Cooke, feud over business investments, DeSorbo, 31, exclusively told Us Weekly that she and Batula, 33, will \u201calways and forever\u201d be on good terms. \u201cIt would be really hard for Amanda and [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWe spend so much time together during the summer that, especially in the fall and winter, I think we really enjoy our time apart from each other,\u201d Batula revealed.<\/p>\n

Cooke explained that after filming in the Hamptons all summer they focus on their work. Batula added that if the group did hang out over the holidays, she\u2019d feel bad it wasn\u2019t featured on TV.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe would never get together as a group without cameras because that would just be ridiculous. You would miss out on too much,\u201d she said with a laugh. \u201cImagine us having a Friendsgiving with no one recording it? You guys would be extremely let down.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Cooke teased that Batula was \u201cexaggerating\u201d about their group dynamic, she insisted, \u201cWe\u2019ve never had one group dinner that went well, so I think people would be very disappointed if they missed it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Even without a Summer House<\/em> Friendsgiving or holiday bash, Cooke and Batula are busy with work and building their Amazon wish-lists for Christmas.<\/p>\n

\u201cAn event like this kind of just reminds me because I\u2019m such a bad shopper in the sense that I don\u2019t think far enough advance,\u201d Cooke said. \u201cSo [Amazon] prime saves my ass there. But also, just like having everything in one place just [is great].\u201d<\/p>\n

The Loverboy founder \u2014 who\u2019s gift list includes coffee<\/a>, pickleball accessories and multiple speakers \u2014 noted that he and Batula like to use Amazon to make their apartment feel festive.<\/p>\n

Cooke said the couple have an artificial tree, which is why Batula picks scents from Amazon<\/a> to mimic the tree smell. \u201cNest makes a really good fragrance, like, the diffuser, which makes [the] whole apartment smell like a Christmas tree,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n
