Miley Cyrus<\/strong><\/a> has no problem being older than her boyfriend, Maxx Morando<\/strong>, and the singer opened up about their age gap recently.<\/p>\n \u201cHe looks at life really differently than I do,\u201d Miley, 31, told Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/em><\/a> about Maxx, who is almost six years her junior at 26. \u201cHe grew up with a laptop. I had a desktop computer that I shared with my brothers and sisters.\u200a\u2026\u200aHonestly, he\u2019s raised our dog off Reddit. I\u2019m like, \u2018Are you sure we\u2019re supposed to be doing this?\u2019 And he\u2019s like, \u2018On Reddit it says blah, blah, blah.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cHe\u2019s very similar to me. We just don\u2019t take life too seriously.\u201d<\/p>\n While her previous relationship with Liam Hemsworth<\/strong><\/a> often made headlines, Miley and Maxx have opted for a more private relationship<\/a>. She confessed that while they like to go out, they\u2019re also just as happy to stay in for the night and listen to \u201ca song that we think is kind of cringe, but we love it.\u201d<\/p>\n Miley also revealed that she and Maxx are currently working on new music together.<\/p>\n \u201cI worked with my dad forever. That\u2019s how me and my ex-husband met each other. I\u2019ve always worked with the people that I love,\u201d Miley explained. \u201cAnd Maxx just inspires me so much.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cFlowers\u201d artist and Maxx were first romantically linked together when they were spotted dancing together on December 31, 2021, but it was several months later before either of them confirmed they were in a relationship. Miley later revealed that she and Maxx met on a blind date in the summer of 2021.<\/p>\n \u201cWe got put on a blind date,\u201d the Hannah Montana<\/em> alum told British Vogue<\/em><\/a> in an article published on May 18, 2023. \u201cWell, it was blind for me and not really for him. I thought, \u2018The worst that can happen is I leave.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n A few months after they began dating, Miley gushed about Maxx without hinting that the two were actually an item when she wore an outfit featuring some of his sketches at the Summerfest in Milwaukee and Atlanta\u2019s Music Midtown festival.<\/p>\n \u201cThis look is a one-of-a-kind collaboration between two of my favorite emerging artists, Maxx Morando and Shane Kastl. Shane used existing pieces I\u2019ve collected over time and customized Maxx\u2019s cartoon characters [within] his construction,\u201d Miley told Vogue<\/em> at the time. \u201cTheir collaboration is the perfect example of sustainability becoming the next fashion phase, and it proves that anything can be reinvented, which resonates with me deeply.\u201d<\/p>\n
