One Tree Hill<\/em><\/a> star Paul Teal died at the age of 35 following a battle with cancer, his bride-to-be announced. His costars<\/a> are mourning Paul\u2019s loss and sharing memories about him.<\/p>\n \u201cThe most thoughtful, inspiring, driven, self-disciplined, loving man passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024,\u201d Paul\u2019s fianc\u00e9e, Emilia Torello<\/strong>, wrote in a Sunday, November 17, Instagram post<\/a> next to a picture of her kissing the smiling actor on the cheek.<\/p>\n \u201cPaul, you were my soulmate, my soon-to-be-husband, my rock, and my future. You filled my lungs with laughter, my stomach with butterflies, and my heart with love. You were taken too soon, in a battle that you fought bravely without fail,\u201d she continued, promising to \u201cfight to find joy in life as hard as you fought to live every single day.\u201d<\/p>\n Paul joined One Tree Hill<\/em> in 2010\u2019s season 7, playing closeted actor Josh Avery. The character dated Jana Kramer<\/strong>\u2018s Alex Dupre before coming out as gay.<\/p>\n Bethany Joy Lenz<\/strong> previously worked alongside Paul in a 2006 stage production of The Notebook<\/em> prior to him joining OTH<\/em>. Life is short,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n Joy shared a video showing photos of Paul playing Noah Calhoun in their production of The Notebook<\/em>, over the song \u201cSunday Train,\u201d which she said was \u201cNoah\u2019s big solo, which we recorded that year with Paul singing.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNow at 35, he\u2019s taken another train.
