On Sunday, Prince Harry<\/strong> appeared on Canada\u2019s TSN network to promote the upcoming Invictus Games 2025, which are set to take place in Vancouver and Whistler this February. During his sideline appearance during Grey Cup championship between the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Toronto Argonauts, he explained why the games for wounded servicemembers have continued to thrive more than a decade after he helped to found it.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s our 10-year anniversary this year, which is pretty exciting. The Invictus Movement started back in 2014, and it\u2019s a sporting platform used for the rehabilitation and support for wounded soldiers\u2014both serving and veterans,\u201d he explained. \u201cIt\u2019s really an opportunity for the individuals themselves and their families to heal and rehabilitate through sport.\u201d<\/p>\n For the segment, he was joined by Wenshuang Nie,<\/strong> a competitor in the Games, who discussed her own experiences with PTSD following her service.<\/p>\n Harry declined to make a prediction for Sunday’s game, but said he was looking forward to returning to Canada. \u201cThis time in less than three months we\u2019ll be back for the opening ceremony in February,\u201d he said. He also discussed his fondness for North American football, and mentioned what position he would play if he were drafted into the Canadian Football League. \u201cI think quarterback is a cool place to be.\u201d<\/p>\n Coincidentally, his choice for that position is something he has in common with his brother, Prince William.<\/strong> Last month<\/a>, William attended a skills clinic for teenagers with the UK branch of the National Football League, where he showed off his skills with a football and took a lesson in throwing it like a quarterback would.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
