Taylor Krause<\/strong> and Garrett Josemans<\/strong> may have made it down the aisle during season 7 of Love Is Blind<\/em><\/a>, though they revealed that their first year of marriage wasn\u2019t always easy.<\/p>\n While appearing on the Wednesday, November 13, episode of \u201cThe Viall Files\u201d podcast<\/a>, Taylor, 30, and Garrett, 33, admitted that choosing where to live initially felt like an \u201cirreconcilable\u201d decision.<\/p>\n \u201cThat was our biggest struggle this summer was working through that together and understanding we still love each other, wanna make this work, but these are real feelings that we\u2019re feeling and trying to understand them and communicate them at the same time,\u201d Garrett told host Nick Viall<\/strong>.<\/p>\n During their time on the show, fans watched the couple go back and forth about if they wanted to move closer to her family in San Diego or stay on the East Coast where they both lived when the show started filming. They did try out the West Coast, though Taylor and Garrett revealed they were moving back East to Washington, D.C. during the reunion episode<\/a>.<\/p>\n While Taylor acknowledged that many couples face the same obstacle, she said that the dating show \u201ctries to have people in the same city\u201d in order to avoid \u201chaving difficulties\u201d with where to live. \u201cI think that\u2019s what happens for a lot of Bachelor people \u2014 that they\u2019re not in the same city and then you transition into this big relationship really quickly,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Taylor added that it was \u201chard for Garrett\u201d to tell her that he wanted to move back East, though \u201che had to be honest so that [they] could figure out what a compromise looked like and how to move forward together.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThere was lots of sleepless nights and tears<\/a>, and it wasn\u2019t easy,\u201d she said about the decision to relocate. \u201cI also luckily have a found a fantastic therapist that I\u2019ve been working with for the past six months. And I think you can really decide at a certain point when you get married, is it for me, or is this about a \u2018we?\u2019 It\u2019s really hard to describe.\u201d<\/p>\n While recalling the experience on the show, Taylor said that it felt like \u201cwhiplash\u201d to go from being \u201csuper single\u201d to being married within a month.<\/p>\n \u201cI know I gave you my non-negotiables going through it, and it really hurt when you were honest with me,\u201d she told Garrett. \u201cBut I would way rather you have been honest with me than, let\u2019s say in three years, you freak out and you\u2019ve been holding this in and we never really got the chance to figure it out together.\u201d<\/p>\n She then noted that \u201cyou can\u2019t predict what happens with life\u201d and most people \u201cjust wanna find a partner\u201d that they can \u201cfigure it out with.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAfter I grieved it and figured it out with you and had a lot of difficult conversations and feelings, I think we got to the other side,\u201d Taylor said about the conflict. \u201cAnd we\u2019re still definitely figuring it out.\u201d<\/p>\n Not only did the couple discuss the challenge of deciding where to live, but they also opened up about struggling with their physical attraction.<\/p>\n \u201cTo be completely honest, Garrett and I were not attracted to each other at first,\u201d she shared. \u201cWe were really in love with each other. It\u2019s not because I didn\u2019t think he was a good-looking guy and it\u2019s not because he didn\u2019t think I was a good-looking person.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite having initial hesitations, the couple quickly adjusted to each other\u2019s appearances<\/a> during the cast trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.<\/p>\n \u201cIn Cabo, [I] was like, \u2018This guy\u2019s really hot,\u2019\u201d she recalled, and Garrett agreed by adding, \u201c100 percent.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
