She was slated to appear on the show again in December 2021, but the Omicron variant of COVID washed over New York and led to the first ever cancellation of a traditional SNL episode. While the show did go on in a clip show style capacity, Charli&#8217;s performance was cancelled and rescheduled for the March 2022 Oscar Isaac episode. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0The previous two times she appeared on the show she popped up in a pre-tape. The first being &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/TqBMbyyxGng?si=WF3-gHptEhkcKu0m\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Christmas Socks<\/a>&#8221; one of the only completed pieces from the 2021 Paul Rudd episode, and she was a singing meatball in an early beloved Sarah Sherman short &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/7_LX4yZjSoA?si=fdvDdJIpxYCvakU3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Meatballs<\/a>&#8220;.
