The royal father-of-three, 42, was at Ulster University on Friday (14.11.24) during his official trip to Northern Ireland when he made a TikTok for Samantha Johnson telling her professor she was tied up and wouldn\u2019t make her study class on time.<\/p>\n
In a clip viewed more than four million times on TikTok, Samantha was seen with a group of other young people stood around William. <\/p>\n
She says in the clip: \u201cYeah, just tell her why we\u2019re late.\u201d<\/p>\n
After checking the professor’s name and that the video was rolling, William told Samantha\u2019s professor: \u201cLesley, I\u2019m very sorry we\u2019re late, but they seem to be caught up, and they wouldn\u2019t believe that you were here, so, just wanted to say hi.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSamantha wrote over the video: \u201cPOV \u2013 Prince William gives you the best excuse for being late.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe later told People: \u201cHe really took a genuine interest in all of our interests and future plans. Honestly, gave the most positive vibes and seems like such a sweet, kind-hearted individual. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cEven took time to tell us about his plans to help the homeless to spread awareness.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSamantha added in response to the flod of comments on her video: \u201cBest excuse ever. Can\u2019t argue with a royal pardon.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nWhen asked if she got away with the excuse, she said: \u201cCourse I did\u201d, adding her professor \u201cloved it\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nShe added it was \u201cso unexpected\u201d and a \u201conce-in-a-lifetime opportunity\u201d to meet William.<\/p>\n
\nWhen an online user said interactions with royals are \u201cgetting more and more unserious\u201d, Samantha replied: \u201cMakes them seem more real\u201d, before adding William was \u201cone of the nicest people I\u2019ve met\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cGenuinely takes care in trying to get to know you… didn\u2019t expect him to be so sound… he\u2019s literally adorable.\u201d<\/p>\n
