Bissinger<\/strong> and the 2004 Tim McGraw<\/strong><\/a>-starring movie, the NBC series took place in the fictional town of Dillon in rural west Texas, following a high school football team led by Coach Eric Taylor, played by Kyle Chandler<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Also starring in the series were Connie Britton<\/strong><\/a>, Taylor Kinney<\/strong><\/a>, Minka Kelly<\/strong><\/a>, Adrianne Palicki<\/strong><\/a>, Jurnee Smollett<\/strong><\/a>, Michael B Jordan<\/strong><\/a> and Matt Lauria<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Kyle<\/strong> won the 2011 Emmy award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his role on the show, while Jason Katims<\/strong> won an Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series Emmy that same year.<\/p>\n Back in 2021, Connie Britton<\/strong> shared her thoughts<\/a> on a possible reboot, and in 2022, Taylor Kinney<\/strong> revealed if he would do a reboot<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
