<\/p>\n Breaking Amish<\/i>\u2019<\/a>s Mama Mary Schmucker<\/strong> has moved to hospice care amid her cancer battle, her daughter-in-law Rebecca Schmucker<\/strong> shared.<\/p>\n Taking to social media, Rebecca shared a photo of Mary via Instagram<\/a> on Wednesday, November 13, calling on Breaking Amish <\/i>fans to send well wishes to her mother-in-law as she updated them on her condition.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m making a prayer request for mom. She\u2019s not feeling good the last few weeks and can\u2019t keep anything down and she\u2019s having trouble eating,\u201d Rebecca, 32, wrote. \u201cShe is on hospice now.\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cHer pain has been so bad and they are helping with that. If you could, flood her with positive messages and pray for her to be comfortable and pain free. Thank you!\ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffc\u201d<\/p>\n Fans were quick to flock to Mary\u2019s Instagram, taking to the comments section to share some positivity and support.<\/p>\n \u201cStay strong! Holding you in the light and wishing you a swift recovery,\u201d wrote one follower, while another added, \u201cStay strong\ud83d\ude22 the world is praying for you. We Love you\u2764\ufe0f\u201d<\/p>\n Another fan wrote, \u201cPraying you feel better. You\u2019ve been such an anchor to your family and an example of unconditional love and support. \u2764\ufe0f\u201d<\/p>\n Mary appeared on TLC reality shows<\/a> Breaking Amish <\/i>and Return to Amish<\/i><\/a>, alongside son Abe<\/strong> and daughter-in-law Rebecca. She was initially a recurring cast member but remained on the show following Abe and Rebecca\u2019s departure.<\/p>\n The reality TV star revealed her health struggles in April 2022, sharing via Facebook that she had been diagnosed with colon cancer.<\/p>\n \u201cI just want to give a little update,\u201d Mary wrote at the time. \u201cAs you know I have colon cancer, and I am scheduled for surgery this month.\u201d<\/p>\n While the surgery seemingly went well at first, Mary\u2019s condition later took a turn for the worse.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I did my surgery, they said they got all of the cancer. Two weeks later they called me and said, \u2018You have to come in right away.\u2019\u201d Mary shared via Facebook in June 2022. \u201cNow they tell me, I have stage three cancer, almost stage four. Chemo will not help on stage four. So, why should I even do chemo? But I\u2019m not taking their word for it; I\u2019m going for a second opinion.\u201d<\/p>\n
