We know that we\u2019re going to spend time in Maryland and Kansas, but then we have this really fun plan because both of us have always dreamed \u2013 and we\u2019re finally at this weird stage in life for making this dream come true \u2013 that we live in a big city, and, specifically, we\u2019ve always wanted to live in New York. So Chock surprised me and said, \u2018I want us to go find a place.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Even before Joan filmed The Golden Bachelorette<\/em>, she made it clear that staying close to her family in Maryland was a non-negotiable. In October 2024, she told Us Weekly<\/em> that she thought it would \u201cbe really fun\u201d to split time between multiple locations with her partner.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I have something great going on, my person could come be with me, and vice versa,\u201d she explained. \u201cWe\u2019ll spend two or three weeks with each other every month.
