I just go, &#8216;This is the road I\u2019m on, and whatever happens happens&#8217;. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If it\u2019s seen as a risk, I\u2019ll take these risks. And if they\u2019re bold risks, then I\u2019ll take those risks, but I\u2019m not going to hang too much on that because fear can set in. That\u2019s very, very destructive to the expression and the desire.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Nicole subsequently conceded that working in Hollywood can be a &#8220;rollercoaster&#8221; experience.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe 57-year-old actress &#8211; who is married to music star Keith Urban &#8211; explained: &#8220;Everything\u2019s hard now. Actually everything. <\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;I mean, maybe not &#8216;Deadpool&#8217;, but there\u2019s nothing that\u2019s, &#8216;Oh my gosh. Yep. This is it. Greenlight, let\u2019s go.&#8217; Or maybe it\u2019s just the things that I do. <\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;I just think that\u2019s the nature of what we\u2019re dealing with now. Things are shrinking in terms of shows being done and films being made. I definitely feel it. I\u2019m sure most people in the industry feel it. I know the crews feel it. I know writers feel it.<\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;You\u2019re just along for the ride, and it is very much ups and downs and rollercoasters, and you just go, &#8216;Hold on tight.&#8217; It\u2019s what I try to teach my kids because I don\u2019t know what their futures are: Hold on and go for it and take the opportunities when they arise and jump in and try something.
