If it seems like everyone\u2019s favorite food-fluencer Stanley Tucci<\/a> has something new going on each month, that\u2019s because he does. In September, the actor launched a collection of luxury nonstick cookware with the popular brand GreenPan<\/a>. Then, in October, he released his second memoir, What I Ate in One Year: (and related thoughts)<\/a><\/em>, a follow up to his 2021 New York Times bestseller<\/a>. Which brings us to his latest venture: Showing us all a fun way to display cheese this holiday season.<\/p>\n

Starting today, Tucci is launching a limited edition cheese cake tower in collaboration with New York City-based cheese store, Murray\u2019s Cheese<\/a> and S. Pellegrino. The \u201ccake<\/a>\u201d features four layers of artisanal cheese from Murray\u2019s and weighs in at nearly 3 pounds. And thankfully for hosting season, it serves 8-10 people and can easily anchor a dinner party charcuterie spread.<\/p>\n

The cake starts with a layer of Murray\u2019s cave aged Cornelia\u2014a rich, buttery, cow\u2019s milk cheese with roasted peanut notes. Atop that is a 2-month-aged mini brie wheel and a creamy La Tur, which Murray\u2019s refers to as the \u201clittle black dress of cheeses\u201d because of it’s crowd-friendliness. In keeping with holiday spirit, the three layers get topped with a savory Buonatavola provolone star. And bonus: It comes with a bottle of S.Pellegrino\u2019s sparkling mineral water on the side.<\/p>\n

We like it because, well, it’s cheese\u2014but also, it\u2019s a lazy host\u2019s dream, especially if last year\u2019s elaborate grazing tables<\/a> felt like too much prep work. Just grab a cake stand, garnish with a few sprigs of fresh herbs, and round out the rest of your board with some crusty bread, herbed crackers, and a couple jams.<\/p>\n
