What We Do in the Shadows<\/em><\/strong><\/a> is one of FX\u2019s most beloved series, with an incredible 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.<\/p>\n The series documents the nightly exploits of vampire roommates Nandor (Kayvan Novak<\/strong><\/a>), Laszlo (Matt Berry<\/strong><\/a>), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou<\/strong><\/a>) and Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch) as they navigate the modern world of Staten Island with the help of their former familiar and current human friend, Guillermo (Harvey Guill\u00e9n<\/strong><\/a>) as well as their vampire bureaucrat acquaintance, The Guide (Kristen Schaal<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n Season 6 is now airing on the network, and now, fans are curious whether they can expect to see a seventh season.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Unfortunately, What We Do in the Shadows <\/em>will end with Season 6.<\/strong><\/p>\n FX chairman John Landgraf<\/strong> explained very simply why the network has decided to bring the show to a close during FX\u2019s TCA panel:<\/a> \u201cThe show came to a natural conclusion. It was a great six year run.\u201d<\/p>\n Show star Harvey Guillen <\/strong>addressed the show\u2019s finale in an interview with The Playlist<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWhere do we go? That\u2019s kind of the question. But sure enough, the writers have done an amazing job of putting us in a completely different environment and a different story and arc for the last season. So it\u2019s hilarious. So I think the possibilities are endless,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n He also got candid about how they found out.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m glad that I knew beforehand because things shifted after last year and what was happening with the writer strike and the actor strike and all of that and things shifted and we didn\u2019t know where the future of any show was going to be. Even though we knew we were picked out for seasons five and six, we weren\u2019t a hundred percent sure going forward or even if we would get to start season six or continue,\u201d he reflected.<\/p>\n \u201cSo, when we were told the timing, it was a little off. We were told a day before Christmas Eve or something like that. It was like the week of Christmas. And we were pretty sure that in our gut we had a feeling that we\u2019d go to seven because we were asked, \u2018How do you feel about continuing?\u2019 And at first we were like, \u2018Well, after five, where do we go with that storyline?\u2019 But hearing what six would look like, we were like, \u2018Oh, you know what? Maybe there\u2019s a possibility to continue. And if everyone\u2019s O.K. and everyone\u2019s happy with it\u2026\u2019 but everything happens for a reason and the way that we ended things, I think it\u2019s going to be great. It\u2019s going to be perfect. And I\u2019m glad that I knew ahead of time so I could really enjoy these last few months filming and being with Kayvan<\/strong>.
