Jenn Tran<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s relationship with Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> partner Sasha Farber<\/strong><\/a> travels further than the ballroom floor. The former Bachelorette thanked the professional dancer for reminding her of \u201cwhat really matters\u201d after experiencing heartbreak on the hit ABC series shortly before joining the DWTS<\/em> cast.<\/p>\n \u201cHe kept reminding me that it\u2019s the stuff that\u2019s not online that really matters, It\u2019s your friends and family who know you the best that really matters,\u201d Jenn, 26, explained to People<\/em><\/a> in a story published on Sunday, November 10. \u201cRight after the breakup [with Devin Strader<\/strong><\/a>], I was going through a lot of stuff being said online and stuff being spilled out, and I had to just turn my phone off.\u201d<\/p>\n The Bachelor Nation star continued, \u201cSasha really helped ground me and tell me that it\u2019s my friends and family who really matter at the end of the day and everything\u2019s going to blow over on social media and just keep doing me because at the end of the day, I only have myself, right?\u201d<\/p>\n Jenn\u2019s journey on The Bachelorette<\/em> ended in an engagement to Devin, 28, but their fairy tale quickly ended once cameras went down and they re-entered the real world.<\/p>\n The former couple called it quits before reuniting during the After the Final Rose<\/em> live show in September, and it was less than amicable. During their heated conversation, Jenn revealed that Devin didn\u2019t put effort into their relationship and called off their engagement over the phone.<\/p>\n Jenn joined the DWTS<\/em> season 33 cast right after The Bachelorette<\/em> finale, and she exclusively told Life & Style<\/em><\/a> how the dancing competition helped her get out of a bad breakup.<\/p>\n \u201cObviously after a breakup, your confidence definitely takes a toll,\u201d she said in a story published on September 5. \u201cBut to be here, to learn something new, to be able to move my body in ways that I didn\u2019t know I could do before, to put on a performance in front of a lot of people, it\u2019s definitely helping me rebuild my confidence in ways that I didn\u2019t think that I could before.\u201d<\/p>\n During Jenn\u2019s time on DWTS<\/em>, she developed a strong relationship with Sasha, 40, like most professional and celebrity partners do.
