Sabrina Carpenter thanked her fans for “all the love” they’ve shown her after she won Best Song at the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs).<\/p>\n

\nThe 25-year-old pop star received the award for her chart-topping single ‘Espresso’ – which featured on her ‘Short n’ Sweet’ album – and Sabrina thanked her fans for their support, admitting she’s “so glad” that the song has become so popular.<\/p>\n

\nThe blonde beauty – who is currently on her Short n’ Sweet Tour – said in a video message: “Hi, EMAs. It’s Sabrina and I just found out that I won Best Song this year at the EMAs and this is my first time winning one! <\/p>\n

\n“So thank you so much for voting for ‘Espresso’. I’m so happy that you guys liked the song. I hope you guys are having the best night – I wish I was there!” <\/p>\n

\nAlthough Sabrina couldn’t attend the EMAs – which was staged at Co-op Live in Manchester – she can’t wait to reunite with her European fans in the coming months.<\/p>\n

\nShe said: “I’m on the Short n’ Sweet Tour right now and about to go on stage, so … I’ll be thinking about you and I can’t wait to see you soon. Thanks for all the love!”<\/p>\n

\nEarlier this month, Sabrina was nominated for six gongs at the upcoming Grammys, and the pop star subsequently admitted that it was the fulfilment of a life-long dream.<\/p>\n

\nAlongside a video clip of her reaction to her nominations, Sabrina wrote on Instagram: “Us on the tour bus this morning, take a shot every time we scream like fr headphone warning.<\/p>\n

\n“This is the first year I\u2019ve watched the live stream where i heard my name! I\u2019d be lying if i said i hadn\u2019t dreamt about this day my whole life so i am filled with gratitude – Thank you @recordingacademy. (sic)”<\/p>\n
