At 78 years old, Susan Sarandon<\/strong><\/a> has dated partners who are both older and younger than she is.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are different people who are, you know, younger but have lived a very full life that are more mature, more interesting,\u201d Sarandon, 78, told The Sunday Times <\/a><\/i>in a profile published on Sunday, November 10. \u201cIt\u2019s very hard to find<\/a> a much older guy who\u2019s still curious and not just trying to hold on to things the way they were.\u201d<\/p>\n

The legendary actress is currently single<\/a>, stressing to the outlet that she is \u201cunattached\u201d and living solo in an apartment with a trio of pet cats.<\/p>\n

\u201c[It] is kind of Grey Gardens-<\/i>adjacent,\u201d Sarandon joked.<\/p>\n

Susan was previously married to David Sarandon<\/strong>, taking his last name, before they divorced in 1979. She later dated Franco Amurri<\/strong>, with whom she shares daughter Eva, 39. Susan went on to welcome sons Jack, 35, and Miles, 32, with former partner Tim Robbins<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI still run into people who were devastated when we broke up. I feel so bad for them,\u201d Susan said, noting she remains friendly with 66-year-old Robbins. \u201cYou have kids, you don\u2019t have any choice.\u201d<\/p>\n

After Susan and Robbins amicably called it quits<\/a> in 2009, she\u2019s been candid about what she\u2019s looking for in a new partner regardless of age or gender.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has to be somebody who has curiosity, a sense of humor, intelligence and appetite for life,\u201d Susan explained to the British newspaper. \u201cSo, God bless you, if you manage to find somebody who fulfills any of those things, whether they\u2019re younger, whether they\u2019re older, whether they\u2019re female or male, whether they\u2019re gender-fluid, whatever. Those are just details.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSusan Sarandon\u2019s daughter Eva Amurri has married chef Ian Hock. Amurri, 39, an actress and lifestyle blogger, is the daughter of Sarandon and director Franco Amurri. She tied the knot with Hock in a small ceremony held on Saturday, June 29, in Hudson Valley, New York. (The couple announced their engagement in February 2023.) \u201cWe [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She continued, \u201cI think the big thing is finding someone<\/a> with an open heart and open mind who\u2019s still curious.\u201d<\/p>\n
