The Days of Our Lives<\/i><\/a> cast knows how to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.<\/p>\n

For more than 60 seasons, the soap opera has provided more than a few OMG plot twists thanks to surprising courtships and love triangles, mistaken identities, murders, medical emergencies, kidnappings and more.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn this medium, there\u2019s so many of those moments from evil twins to babies swapped,\u201d cast member Leo Howard<\/strong> exclusively told Us Weekly<\/i> at Peacock\u2019s \u201cDay of Days\u201d event on November 2. \u201cA good baby stealing storyline is always quite an OMG moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Galen Gering<\/strong> argued that the best \u2014 or most shocking \u2014 is yet to come after Peacock officially renewed the show for its 61st season.<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, the biggest plot twist for me is about to happen but I can\u2019t tell you what it is,\u201d Gering teased to Us<\/i> from inside the Peacock Theater. \u201cWe\u2019re all involved in it and it\u2019s, like, \u2018Are you freaking kidding me.\u2019 I am excited.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before the cast revealed the show\u2019s official teaser<\/a> for season 60 at the fan event, many actors and actresses from Salem shared their favorite plot twists from over the years.<\/p>\n

Prepare to have your mind blown with what the writers have come up with for your favorite Days<\/i> characters below:<\/p>\n

Stephen Nichols<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cFor me, I think I took a year off and I came back and they didn\u2019t tell me what the story would be,\u201d Nichols shared with Us<\/i> before sharing the writers\u2019 surprise vision for his character\u2019s return. \u201c\u2018You\u2019re going to be Stefano. Someone\u2019s going to plant a chip in your head and you will be Stefano in Steve\u2019s body.\u2019 I thought, \u2018Wow, OK. Where\u2019s the money? Are you going to pay me a little extra for that?\u2019 That was the biggest plot twist that I have ever experienced. It was a hell of a lot of fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

Martha Madison<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cFirst of all, the most popular one in our show\u2019s history is the devil possession,\u201d Madison shared when looking back on Marlena Evans\u2019 (Deidre Hall) 1994 storyline. \u201cI mean, how many shows would dare to tell his story like that? And most recently, when we retold the story, the devil jumped from character to character. So we all got to play it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Madison also couldn\u2019t help but chuckle when looking back on how her character, Belle, ended up having a baby with Shawn (Brandon Beemer).<\/p>\n

\u201cI always like to tell the story about how our child was conceived because we conceived our child while we were both in a hypothermic coma, and we didn\u2019t know that we had ever slept together,\u201d she told Us<\/i>. \u201cWe didn\u2019t learn until years later that our daughter was ours. We\u2019re like, \u2018Wait, how did that happen?\u2019 You have to be able to suspend reality to enjoy soap operas.\u201d<\/p>\n

Susan Hayes<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cI remember a day when the principals in the cast were involved with a turret, and from the turret, a cascade of stones was going to be thrown on the cast and they would be covered and maybe killed, maybe not,\u201d Hayes recalled. \u201cNobody was really anxious to do that because we were not being doubled. Our producer at that time said, \u2018It\u2019s going to be OK.\u2019 That was almost as good as the day we all jumped out of the airplane and the day that we all jumped off the ship into the tank. Other than that, it\u2019s a day at soap opera land.\u201d<\/p>\n

Billy Flynn\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cThey did a microchip storyline where Stefano\u2019s essence, or his brain, was put in a microchip and put into Stephen Nichols, who plays Patch,\u201d Flynn shared. \u201cSo Patch became Stefano, who was my father and that was an OMG moment only because of just the absurdity or disbelief you got to put aside. Recently, I saw a scene where they\u2019re about to take the microchip out, and it\u2019s our father saying goodbye to us, but it\u2019s Patch. He\u2019s got one eye, and he\u2019s saying, \u2018I love you. I love you\u2019 in the Stefano accent. That was a surreal moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Deidre Hall\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Hall agrees with Madison\u2019s pick for the most OMG moment in Salem\u2019s history. \u201cWell, obviously mine is going to be possession,\u201d she told Us<\/i>, \u201cbecause that\u2019ll be on my tombstone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Robert Scott Wilson<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve had a few OMG moments for me. Personally, probably when they called and told me that they want to bring me back as a new character two weeks after my character walks off screen,\u201d Wilson shared with Us<\/i>. \u201cThat was big. Also, when we did the necktie killer story line that affected me. What seemed like a door closing, ended up being a giant opening, which was really fantastic.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cherie Jimenez<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Jimenez\u2019s biggest OMG moment came during her third day on set playing Gabi Hernandez. \u201cI exposed the couple-year run of nobody knowing the actual paternity of baby Jude not being EJ\u2019s baby and actually being Nicole\u2019s baby and Eric\u2019s baby,\u201d Jimenez said. \u201cI came in like a bat out of hell, and I just laid it all out. I didn\u2019t waste time. I basically came in guns blazing. I also did at a press conference that was to honor EJ for releasing me from prison and I repay by exposing the truth. Just another day in Salem.\u201d<\/p>\n

Al Calderon<\/strong><\/h3>\n

As a newcomer for season 60, Calderon is bracing himself for what the writers will come up with for his character. \u201cI\u2019m a newbie so I\u2019m learning as I go,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m ready for my OMG moment. I just want to steal someone\u2019s baby, be involved in a murder. I don\u2019t know. My character is a good guy. Dang it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Colton Little<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cI think for me, being part of the LGBT community in real life, I was shocked and honored that I get the opportunity to play a gay character on TV and also a gay character who is multifaceted,\u201d Little told Us<\/i> about his role as Andrew Donovan. \u201cAs a kid growing up in rural Nebraska, I never would have thought it could happen so I\u2019m really honored.\u201d<\/p>\n

Eric Martsolf<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cWe have a daughter on the show, but the only reason she is on the earth is because I made love to this woman while she was wearing the mask of Nicole Walker,\u201d Marsolf told Us<\/i> while chatting next to his TV partner Stacy Haiduk. \u201cI thought I was making love to Nicole and apparently I couldn\u2019t tell the difference. Apparently [my character] Brady\u2019s really into latex because I couldn\u2019t tell the difference between her and Nicole with a mask on. Now we have Rachel, who was born out of deception. That\u2019s insane, right?\u201d<\/p>\n
