Trump and Fuentes shared<\/a> dinner in 2022 with Kanye West<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s your body, my choice,\u201d Fuentes, who has over 430,000 followers on X and 114,000 on Rumble, continued, donning an America First hat.<\/p>\n Despite Donald Trump\u2019s promise on the campaign trail that he would<\/a> \u201cPROTECT WOMEN AT A LEVEL NEVER SEEN BEFORE\u201d and that<\/a> \u201cWOMEN WILL BE HAPPY, HEALTHY, CONFIDENT AND FREE!\u201d the week following his election has appeared to invigorate violence against women in digital spaces.<\/p>\n In the moments and days following Trump\u2019s reelection to the White House, emboldened men have been sending those same words to women across the nation through comments and private messages on social media. On X, some women have posted screenshots of the kinds of DMs they\u2019ve been receiving. \u201cStupid cunt,\u201d one message reads with a laughing emoji. \u201cYour body. My choice. Dumb Whore\u201d another says.<\/p>\n It\u2019s unclear how many of these comments across different social media platforms are coming from bots or men within the United States.<\/p>\n This content can also be viewed on the site it originates<\/a> from.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n This violent rhetoric online comes as the majority<\/a> of American voters chose to elect Trump in his third run for office\u2014the only<\/a> time<\/a> that he\u2019s won the popular vote.<\/p>\n According to exit polls<\/a>, there was a 10 percent gender gap, overall, between who voted for Trump or Vice President Kamala Harris<\/strong>\u2014with 55% of men opting for Trump, compared to 45% of women. Over 90% of Black women said no to Trump, along with 60% of Latina women. White women, as they did in 2016<\/a> and 2020<\/a>, were the only group in their gender to be more likely to vote for Trump over the Democrat.<\/p>\n During Trump\u2019s bid for office, in May of last year, he was held liable for sexual abuse and defamation<\/a> in E. Jean Carroll<\/strong>\u2019s legal case against him. Trump has referred<\/a> to Carroll, who has testified in court that he raped her in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room in 1996, a \u201cnut job,\u201d \u201cwhack job,\u201d and a \u201cliar.\u201d Currently, he owes her $90 million\u2014with interest. The former and future president<\/a> has continuously bragged<\/a> about appointing three of the Supreme Court justices who overturned Roe v. Wade<\/em>, effectively decimating access to abortion and other reproductive healthcare across the country.
