Paul \u201cPauly D\u201d Delvecchio<\/strong><\/a> admitted to having a \u201crelationship problem<\/a>\u201d with girlfriend Nikki Hall<\/strong><\/a> on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation<\/em><\/a>. However, it turned out to just be a small disagreement that the two were able to get past.<\/p>\n \u201cShe said something and I just can\u2019t get it out of my head,\u201d Pauly, 44, told Mike \u201cThe Situation\u201d Sorrentino<\/strong> and Vinny Guadagnino<\/strong> during a video call. \u201cShe said all pasta tastes the same.\u201d<\/p>\n The footage flashed back to a previous scene of Nikki, 32, and Pauly in the kitchen. When he asked her what her favorite type of pasta was, she replied, \u201cYou know they\u2019re all the same, right?\u201d As a proud Italian, Pauly was flabbergasted by Nikki\u2019s take.<\/p>\n \u201cDealbreaker,\u201d Mike, 42, admitted, while Vinny, 36, joked, \u201cI\u2019m sorry you\u2019re going through this, bro.\u201d The guys suggested that Pauly take Nikki out to dinner so she could sample various types of pasta.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ve been together a long time and there\u2019s something on my mind,\u201d Pauly told his longtime love when they arrived at their favorite Italian restaurant. She immediately grew concerned and told him, \u201cYou\u2019re being weird.\u201d<\/p>\n Pauly continued, \u201cIt\u2019s weighing heavy on my heart. You said something to me and I can\u2019t get it out of my head. It goes against my faith and everything I believe in.\u201d Nikki had no clue where Pauly was headed, so he finally added, \u201cYou said all pasta tastes the same.\u201d<\/p>\n Nikki clarified that she meant \u201cthe ingredients [and] how you make pasta\u201d is all the same, adding, \u201cPasta is typically flour, eggs, olive oil and salt. It\u2019s the same.\u201d To prove his point, Pauly ordered five different kinds of pasta in the same sauce.<\/p>\n \u201cTastes like eggs and flour,\u201d Nikki noted when she tried the rigatoni. After her bite of angel hair, Pauly said, \u201cTell me that\u2019s not different!\u201d She jokingly replied, \u201cIt tastes a little bit less like eggs and flour.\u201d<\/p>\n The DJ felt he won the battle, though, when Nikki said she \u201cdidn\u2019t like\u201d the fettuccine. \u201cWould that even be possible if they all taste the same?\u201d he pointed out. \u201cBoom. I told ya. I knew it. I\u2019m so glad I don\u2019t have to break up with Nikki right now.\u201d Regardless, Nikki still said, \u201cI still only taste four ingredients,\u201d by the end of the meal.<\/p>\n Nikki and Pauly met on Double Shot at Love<\/em> but didn\u2019t get together after season 1. Instead, she returned for season 2, which is when they decided to give their relationship a shot. In 2020, they moved in together amid the COVID-19 pandemic and have been going strong ever since.<\/p>\n Although Nikki recently took a break from filming Jersey Shore<\/em> during season 6 and the first half of season 7, she returned<\/a> for season 7, part 2, in September and has appeared sporadically during the last several episodes.<\/p>\n
