Barry Keoghan<\/strong><\/a> has nothing but praise for girlfriend Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong><\/a> amid her Grammy Award nominations<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really, really happy for her. I gotta get on the phone soon. Don\u2019t put me on the spot, lads,\u201d Keoghan, 32, said during an appearance<\/a> on SiriusXM\u2019s The Jess Cagle Show With Julia Cunningham<\/em><\/a> on Friday, November 8, while promoting his new movie, Bird<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know anyone who works as hard, you know?\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m in awe of her, watching her work and her [commitment] and the standards that she sets, especially being on that [\u2018Please Please Please\u2019] music video. She knows the vision, she knows what she wants, and it\u2019s, yeah\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

The nominations for the 67th annual Grammy Awards were announced Friday morning, with Carpenter, 25, nabbing an impressive seven nods, including Best New Artist, Album of the Year and Song of the Year.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time in recent days that Keoghan has made comments about Carpenter on a podcast.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, the Saltburn<\/em> star gushed<\/a> about the former Disney actress during an appearance on \u201cThe Louis Theroux Podcast\u201d after host Louis Theroux<\/strong> asked about his bond with Carpenter.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, I knew you\u2019d do this. Listen, all I\u2019m going to say is I\u2019m incredibly blessed. [She\u2019s] such a strong, independent lady who\u2019s massively talented and yeah, [she\u2019s] pretty special. Louis, you got me!\u201d he said. \u201cI was in \u2018Please Please Please.\u2019 Great video. Great music.\u201d<\/p>\n

Keoghan and Carpenter have kept their relationship relatively low-key since they were first romantically connected in December 2023. They continued to fuel dating rumors by attending several of the same public events, including a W Magazine<\/em> Grammys afterparty in February and the Vanity Fair<\/em> Oscars party in March.<\/p>\n

That same month, a source exclusively confirmed to Us Weekly<\/em> that the pair became exclusive in January.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey really took things slow at first, but the relationship is going strong,\u201d the insider shared. \u201cThey are both very casual people and enjoy being low-key in their downtime. They aren\u2019t putting too much pressure on things, and Sabrina loves that Barry understands she is extremely busy with her work commitments right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

In June, Keoghan appeared in Carpenter\u2019s music video for her Grammy-nominated track, \u201cPlease Please Please.\u201d The tune served as the second single from Carpenter\u2019s latest album Short n\u2019 Sweet<\/em>, which features many songs rumored to be about her and Keoghan\u2019s romance.<\/p>\n
