Of all the scary prospects of Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a> returning to the White House<\/a>\u2014and there are enough for a Saw<\/em>-level nightmare-a-day for the next 1,500-plus days\u2014one of the scariest is the strong possibility that there won\u2019t be any \u201cadults in the room.\u201d For instance, whereas during his first term, there were people who would tell Trump things like, \u201cYou cannot ever say anything supportive of\u00a0Adolf Hitler<\/a>. You just can\u2019t,\u201d and explain that no, you are not allowed to just shoot migrants in the legs<\/a>, in the second, he wants loyalists<\/a> who will simply tell him what he wants to hear.<\/p>\n One of the loyalists currently jockeying for a role is Georgia representative Marjorie Taylor Greene<\/strong> of Jewish-laser-beam fame<\/a>. Speaking on a panel on Wednesday, the GOP lawmaker responded to a question about Elon Musk,<\/strong> Robert F. Kennedy Jr.,<\/strong> and Vivek Ramaswamy<\/strong> joining Trump\u2019s cabinet by saying<\/a>, \u201cThose are brand-new people. RFK, Vivek, they both tried to beat [Trump] in the presidential race this year.\u201d She added: \u201cIt\u2019s important to realize who stood with President Trump from the beginning, never backed down, never stabbed him in the back, never tried to beat him. And there\u2019s those of us that have been very loyal. We understand his policies, we support them through and through. And I\u2019d like to see people like us that have done that very much involved.\u201d<\/p>\n Later on Wednesday, during an appearance on the War Room<\/em> podcast, longtime Trump adviser Steve Bannon<\/strong> mused about the idea of Greene taking over the Department of Homeland Security, telling her: \u201cYou\u2019re such a fighter.
