Accusing someone you don\u2019t know of being abusive and manipulative is not ok, especially when you don\u2019t know the relationship personally.\u201d<\/p>\n
Around the same time, Madison, 25, directly addressed fans who accused Mariah, 25, of causing a wedge between her and Rudy. \u201cI\u2019m seeing all these posts about Mariah not liking Rudy, which, I mean, that\u2019s not true,\u201d she said on Instagram Live. \u201cThat\u2019s just not true. She likes both of them. I got on the f\u2013king phone with Rudy this morning because of y\u2019all\u2019s f\u2013king bulls\u2013t.\u201d<\/p>\n
The actress said she was really \u201cset off\u201d by someone who claimed Mariah was only dating her for clout and called out Outer Banks<\/em> fans who wanted her to date Rudy. \u201cWe never had any romantic relationship ever and y\u2019all are like, \u2018They belong together.\u2019 No we don\u2019t,\u201d Madison insisted.<\/p>\nFans now think that JJ was only killed off of Outer Banks<\/em> because Rudy and Madison didn\u2019t want to work together anymore, but the show\u2019s creators have said that it was always the plan to have the beloved character die.<\/p>\n\u201cWe were pretty sure early on that this was where it was going,\u201d Shannon Burke<\/strong> told Cosmopolitan<\/em>. \u201cWe thought that one of the Pogues would die almost in the very beginning in season 1 and we were pretty sure that it was going to be JJ. We just weren\u2019t sure when we were going to play that card. We knew this would be JJ\u2019s season. This is JJ\u2019s story. And we realized pretty early on, like, \u2018OK, we\u2019re going to play this card now.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\nJJ died in Kiara\u2019s arms and both actors reflected on what it was like to film the heavy scene. \u201cThis character is a huge loss and everybody\u2019s going to feel it,\u201d Madison admitted. Rudy added, \u201cI knew everyone was on board to bring their all and I felt that from everyone. Madison and I brought it, and I know that we crushed it. It was emotional, but I think deep down, everyone was on the same page. \u2018Let\u2019s make an impact.\u2019 And we did that.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
