Love Is Blind<\/em><\/a> star Ashley Adionser<\/strong> revealed that the mother of husband Tyler Francis<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 kids, Bri Thomas<\/strong>, apologized to the couple via DM after his paternity scandal unfolded on the Netflix series.<\/p>\n \u201cI will say she wrote me on Instagram and apologized to me and Tyler,\u201d the marketing director, 32, said on \u201cThe Viall Files<\/a>\u201d podcast on Wednesday, November 6. \u201c[She] said she\u2019s praying for us and she never meant for it to go this way. She won\u2019t say too much on this forum.\u201d<\/p>\n Ashley continued, \u201cShe also wrote me and said it was OK if I never wanted to respond and she knows my world is crazy right now and she never intentionally meant to cause me any pain.\u201d<\/p>\n Though the reality star admitted she was \u201csurprised\u201d by the message, she \u201cwelcomed\u201d it because of how much she loves Tyler, 35.<\/p>\n \u201cIf we never talk to [the woman] or the kids again, it\u2019s still a thing,\u201d she concluded. \u201cI wouldn\u2019t mind having a sit-down with [her]. I want to know what the motive is here, like, even his mom. When I talked to her, she was like, \u2018It is exactly what he\u2019s saying,\u2019 and it used to be so uncomfortable for [my mother-in-law].\u201d<\/p>\n Tyler became shrouded in controversy during Love Is Blind<\/em> season 7 when he admitted to then-fianc\u00e9e Ashley that he had fathered three children<\/a>, two girls and a boy, via sperm donation for a couple he knew. However, he initially claimed that he was nothing more than a \u201csperm donor\u201d to the kids.<\/p>\n Bri disputed Tyler\u2019s claim<\/a> in an Instagram post on October 10. \u201cYes, I am the mother of Tyler\u2019s three children. I\u2019m trying really hard to do this the right way, but I have no understanding why he would characterize his relationship with his children as he has,\u201d she wrote. \u201cI guess I have to speak on this, despite trying so hard not to. \u2018Sperm babies\u2019 they are not.\u201d<\/p>\n The mom of three later shared a since-deleted video of Tyler and one of his biological sons and wrote that it was taken around Christmas 2022. \u201cMy children love their \u2018Dad.\u2019 To think that he has reduced them to \u2018sperm babies,\u2019 when I was told he was going on the show to be able to better provide for them,\u201d Bri added.<\/p>\n Bri has continued to speak out against Tyler online, as has the children\u2019s grandmother, Lovetta Thomas<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Tyler cleared the air on his paternity scandal<\/a> during the Love Is Blind<\/em> season 7 reunion, which dropped on October 30.<\/p>\n \u201cThose kids, that family, they did not sign up for this. So what is happening now is I try to keep that from happening. Their birth certificates are online. Things that shouldn\u2019t be happening are now happening,\u201d he explained. \u201cAnd to get into the story, I did help a friend and her wife start a family, but her wife ended up leaving her and left her high and dry.\u201d<\/p>\n Tyler continued, \u201cThis was my very close friend. So I stepped in, voluntarily stepped in and helped. So there is pictures of me around. You\u2019ll see me around. I\u2019ve spent holidays with all my friends, you know, all their kids. And I played a part that became very shaky with a friend.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s no rule books to this. There\u2019s no set lines to this,\u201d the reality TV personality added. \u201cBut I do want to let people know, Ashley knows all this. This is news to the world. This has never been news to us.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite Ashley initially feeling uneasy about Tyler\u2019s paternity bombshell, the two went on to tie the knot on Love Is Blind<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve never felt a love this pure yet fierce,\u201d she told him in her vows. \u201cI feel like we can do anything in life as long as we have each other.
