Striking New York Times<\/em> tech workers have created a \u201cGuild Builds\u201d page<\/a> dedicated to strike-themed games you can play, including a spin on Wordle, <\/em>a word search, and the custom Connections<\/em> I reported on earlier today.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n As part of its strike announcement on Monday, the New York Times Tech Guild requested that people don\u2019t cross the digital picket line to play the NYT\u2019s<\/em> daily puzzle games<\/a>. This collection of five other games offers an alternative if you want to support the striking workers but also do some brain teasers. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n There are currently five games on the page:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n They aren\u2019t super fancy, but I\u2019ve had fun messing around with them. The games will be updated \u201cwhen they can be,\u201d Jen Sheehan, spokesperson for the NewsGuild of New York, tells The Verge, <\/em>so you might want to check back every once in awhile to see if there\u2019s a new version of a puzzle to play. Sheehan also says that guild members created all of the games but Strikle, <\/em>which was made by an external supporter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
