Get out of that marriage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Producers then asked her about her own affair, to which Stewart replied, \u201cYeah, but I don\u2019t think Andy ever knew about that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The TV star was married to ex-husband <strong>Andrew Stewart<\/strong>, with whom she shares <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-moms\/news\/martha-stewarts-daughter-lashes-out-at-domestic-diva-in-new-tell-all-2011210\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">daughter Alexis<\/a>, between 1961 and 1990. Three years after their divorce, she debuted her <i>Martha Stewart Living <\/i>daytime series that inspired a magazine of the same name. In fact, she\u2019s busier than ever: Her home brand is in demand and her 100th cookbook, Martha Stewart: The Cookbook is out in November. \u201cI try to balance a whole lot,\u201d the mogul told Us while promoting Pure [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cWhat is more important? A marriage or a career?\u201d Stewart asked in the trailer. \u201cYou tell me. I don\u2019t know. The cookie-cutter house and the cookie-cutter life was not for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">She added, \u201cI had two mottos: Learn something new every day and when you\u2019re through changing, you\u2019re through. I could have just been a miserable, has-been housewife, but I didn\u2019t let that happen to myself \u2014 and I\u2019m so happy I didn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Martha didn\u2019t let anything stop her business success, which made her feel like she \u201cwas on top of the world,\u201d until her 2004 arrest. The lifestyle maven was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-news\/news\/martha-stewart-ina-garten-was-unfriendly-during-prison-stint\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">found guilty on felony charges<\/a> of conspiracy to obstruct and of making false statements to federal<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">investigators, later being sentenced to a five-month prison sentence and a two-year period of supervised release.
