Jenn Tran<\/strong><\/a> and Sasha Farber<\/strong><\/a> were not fazed by guest judge Gene Simmons<\/strong><\/a> calling them a \u201csteamy couple\u201d after their Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> performance.<\/p>\n

\u201cListen, he\u2019s an icon. It\u2019s rock \u2018n\u2019 roll night. It\u2019s Hair Metal Night,\u201d Sasha, 40, said after the episode on Tuesday, October 8. \u201cAnd if you think icon, which icon would you think is bigger than Gene Simmons? No one. So to have him say that \u2014 I\u2019ll take anything he says.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jenn, 26, agreed with her partner\u2019s take on Gene\u2019s comment. \u201cI\u2019ll take anything he says. Listen, I don\u2019t listen to heavy metal, whatever this is,\u201d she admitted. \u201cBut I know Gene Simmons, and that\u2019s just how amazing he is.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jenn and Sasha earned a score of 31 out of 40 for their paso doble to Europe\u2019s \u201cThe Final Countdown\u201d on Hair Metal Night. After performing their routine, Gene, 75, raised eyebrows for his reaction.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, there\u2019s no question you two make a steamy couple,\u201d Gene said. \u201cSasha is terrific as a professional does it every day, but all the pressure is on you. I have to say, besides being beautiful, you delivered.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite his high praise, Gene surprised the duo with his low score<\/a>. After earning eights from the three other judges, Gene declared, \u201cDon\u2019t hate me\u201d before flashing his seven paddle. When asked for their reactions to his judging, Sasha quipped to Us<\/em>, \u201cIt\u2019s OK, Gene, you\u2019re a legend, so we forgive you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jenn noted that she\u2019s \u201cjust having fun on the dance floor.\u201d She added, \u201cThat was the first time I did a performance where I don\u2019t care what anybody says because I had such an amazing time out there. And I know that I put it all out there and nobody can knock me down from how good I feel right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jenn and Sasha were ultimately safe from the double elimination<\/a> as viewers said goodbye to Eric Roberts<\/strong> and partner Britt Stewart<\/strong> as well as Reginald VelJohnson<\/strong> and partner Emma Slater<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
