Cassie<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s songwriter Tiffany Red<\/strong> is recalling the first time something felt \u201cwrong\u201d in the singer\u2019s romance with Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs<\/strong><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Red, 37, told the story Wednesday, October 9, in Secret Life of Diddy \u2014 A Special Edition of 20\/20<\/i> on ABC. One night in 2015, Cassie, who\u2019s now 38, put Diddy on speakerphone and Tiffany heard the mogul <\/span>screaming at his then-girlfriend and asking who was with her.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIs someone in the car with you?\u201d Red could hear Diddy say. \u201cI know someone is in the car with you.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking with <\/span>20\/20<\/i>, Red said, \u201cThat was my first time being, like, \u2018Something is wrong.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tINF\/INSTAR Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs has been under investigation for at least a year after being accused of sexual assault by multiple people. The rapper and music mogul, 54, made headlines in November 2023 after his ex-girlfriend Cassie accused him of sexual abuse in a bombshell lawsuit. She accused Diddy of beating her, forcing her to [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

And when Cassie (real name: Casandra Ventura) turned 29 in August 2015, Red said she witnessed Diddy explode at the singer and corner her in a room with his security. Diddy got \u201cin her face and he\u2019s cussing her out,\u201d Red recalled. \u201cHe was really mad, he was really close to her face and she just had her head down.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She added, \u201cMy sense was that everybody around him was afraid of him.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Red has written several songs for Cassie, including \u201cJoint (No Sleep)\u201d in 2016 and \u201cDon\u2019t Let Go\u201d and \u201cSimple Things\u201d in 2019. She has also collaborated with Zendaya<\/strong> and Jennifer Hudson<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cCassie is sweet, she\u2019s quiet, she\u2019s a good person,\u201d Red told <\/span>20\/20<\/i>\u2019s Diddy special, recalling how the Connecticut-born model \u201cwas introduced to the world by Diddy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Once, the rapper asked Red, \u201c<\/span><\/span>You\u2019re the one writing all these songs about me?\u201d She felt intimidated, \u201clike he didn\u2019t want her talking to me.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Us Weekly <\/i>has reached out to Diddy\u2019s reps for comment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Diddy, 54, is currently behind bars<\/a> at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where he awaits trial on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.<\/span><\/p>\n

He was arrested on Monday, September 16, after a grand jury indicted him following a string of sexual assault lawsuits and a federal investigation. The 14-page indictment accuses Diddy of abusing, threatening and coercing women for years \u201cto fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his conduct.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tCelebrities are weighing in following the recent arrest of Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs. The music mogul was taken into custody in New York on September 16. The following day, a 14-page indictment alleging that Diddy \u201cabused, threatened and coerced women and others around him\u201d was made public. The rapper has since entered a not guilty plea [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Diddy has denied all allegations against him and pleaded not guilty.<\/span><\/p>\n
