When Elon Musk<\/strong> sauntered onstage at Donald Trump<\/strong>\u2019s recent Pennsylvania rally<\/a>, wearing an \u201cOccupy Mars\u201d T-shirt<\/a> and an all-black \u201cMake America Great Again\u201d hat, he declared himself not only a Trump supporter<\/a>, but a heavy for \u201cdark MAGA.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cOoh, dark MAGA<\/em>?\u201d Jon Stewart<\/strong> quipped on Monday\u2019s episode of The Daily Show.<\/em> \u201cI didn\u2019t know it came in flavors! I wonder if for the holidays they\u2019ll come out with peppermint bark MAGA. Or pumpkin spice MAGA.\u201d After taking some swipes at Musk\u2019s overly enthusiastic presence at the rally\u2014\u201cHe\u2019s acting like a guy who won a radio contest\u201d\u2014the late-night host grew serious about the tech billionaire\u2019s assertion that Democrats are the anti-free-speech party.<\/p>\n \u201cNow, you might think one of the world\u2019s richest men controlling one of the world\u2019s most influential platforms could be a recipe for what some may consider election interference,\u201d Stewart began. \u201cYou stupid, stupid people. You disgust me. Election interference is what Mark Zuckerberg<\/strong> did.\u201d Stewart then reminded viewers that Trump has threatened the Facebook cofounder about engaging in election interference this election cycle, with the former president having accused him of doing so back in 2020<\/a>. However, the ex-president seemingly has no issue this cycle with Musk offering his followers money<\/a> to register swing voters.<\/p>\n
