Jane Wickline<\/strong> made a splash during her Saturday Night Live<\/em><\/a> debut on season 50.<\/p>\n

During a \u201cWeekend Update\u201d<\/a> segment in October 2024, Wickline brought out her keyboard<\/a> and singing voice to perform a tune called \u201cParty\u201d about Gen Z nightlife.<\/p>\n

When Colin Jost<\/strong> asked whether she was a \u201cbig partier,\u201d Wickline replied, \u201cOf course. Everyone should be.\u201d Jost quipped that he \u201cwouldn\u2019t have guessed\u201d that was her \u201cvibe.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, when you stay out late, that\u2019s extra time. And I\u2019m tall, so I\u2019m going to die pretty young, like a big dog,\u201d she explained. \u201cAnd staying out every night is how I extend my life. I get an extra three, even four, years.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wickline graduated from Oberlin College in 2021 before making her way to the NBC variety show as a featured player three years later.<\/p>\n

Jane Wickline Is TikTok Viral<\/h3>\n

Wickline posted her first TikTok<\/a> on her account in 2020. The following year, Wickline explained that she tries \u201cto just do things that I think are stupid and funny\u201d on the app.<\/p>\n

\u201cTikTok makes the illusion of everyone being famous, which is really interesting because \u2026 videos are so short that so many people can be creators,\u201d Wickline told The Oberlin Review<\/em><\/a> in 2021. \u201cAlso no one knows how the algorithm works. Your stuff ends up getting shown to people in your extended circle, so it all comes back to you in a way that makes you feel a lot more important than you are.\u201d<\/p>\n

One of her bits includes impersonating L.A. Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw<\/strong>. \u201cMost of my feedback from people who have watched this has been very lukewarm, but I just keep making them because I think it\u2019s so funny,\u201d Wickline said at the time. \u201cI just have been doing an impression of like \u2014 I call it an impression of Clayton Kershaw, but it\u2019s just a version of Clayton Kershaw that I made up. \u2026 I literally googled baseball players, and he had a name that I liked to say.\u201d<\/p>\n
