On September 23, Olivia Munn<\/strong><\/a> announced she and husband John Mulaney<\/strong><\/a> had welcomed their second child.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cM\u00e9i June Mulaney came into the world September 14, 2024, the year of the dragon,\u201d the Newsroom<\/em> star wrote on Instagram, sharing that M\u00e9i means plum in Chinese. \u201cI am so proud of my little plum, my little dragon, for making the journey to be with us. My heart has exploded.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n It wasn\u2019t an easy journey for baby or parents. In 2023, Olivia, 44, was diagnosed<\/a> with an aggressive form of breast cancer and underwent five surgeries as part of her treatment. Among them was a hysterectomy, which meant she could no longer carry her own children. So Olivia and John, who tied the knot<\/a> this July, turned to a surrogate to help make their wish of giving son Malcolm, 2, a sibling come true.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThey say their family is now complete,\u201d an insider exclusively tells Life & Style<\/em>. \u201cOlivia and John thought having two children under 3 would be more chaotic, but the adjustment has actually been pretty smooth!\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n While family and nannies are currently on hand to offer the sleep-deprived parents assistance, Olivia is in the trenches doing the dirty (diaper!) work. \u201cShe loves it,\u201d says the insider. \u201cBeing a mom has always been her dream role.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Be that as it may, it looks like little M\u00e9i is busy securing her place as a daddy\u2019s girl. \u201cJohn didn\u2019t think he would melt as much as he has,\u201d spills the insider. \u201cHe sings to M\u00e9i and says he\u2019s already trying out jokes on her. And M\u00e9i seems to just light up when he holds her.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Big brother Malcolm also appears smitten. \u201cHe couldn\u2019t wait to meet his sister,\u201d notes the insider, adding that the new addition\u2019s nursery is \u201cdecorated in warm colors \u2014 beige and pink \u2014 and Olivia calls it a mini sanctuary. She and John were super prepared for M\u00e9i\u2019s arrival.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n None of it would have come to fruition, however, without the woman who carried their embryo.
