Brie Garcia<\/strong><\/a> (formerly known as Brie Bella) shared a heartfelt message to trauma victims while giving a slight update on how her twin sister, Nikki Garcia<\/strong><\/a> (previously known as Nikki Bella), is doing after her alleged physical altercation with estranged husband Artem Chigvintsev<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThe last week, when I\u2019ve seen trauma, that\u2019s the sadness that has come. And it\u2019s crazy, because when we are looking trauma in the face and we\u2019re seeing it, all you want to do is help,\u201d Brie, 40, said during the Friday, October 4, episode of \u201cThe Nikki & Brie Show\u201d podcast, which she hosted solo.<\/p>\n Through her own experience, the former WWE wrestler shared that trauma can make victims \u201chide in [their] shells\u201d and \u201crun back to certain situations that cause the pain.\u201d<\/p>\n Brie continued, \u201cIt can literally make us just let go, give up all the different feelings because it\u2019s painful. It doesn\u2019t feel good.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNikki, myself, and a whole army of women are here to support and help you. Give you strength. Give you confidence. Don\u2019t take the shit anymore,\u201d she told her listeners. \u201cIf you are in a situation that is toxic, that\u2019s not good, time to say, \u2018Game over.\u2019 It is hard to be strong. It\u2019s hard to be confident. Please stop, look in the mirror, put yourself first.\u201d<\/p>\n Brie has been Nikki\u2019s advocate and biggest supporter after Artem, 42, was arrested on August 29 in Napa Valley, California. The professional dancer was booked on domestic violence charges, but was released hours after his arrest after making $25,000 bail.<\/p>\n \u201c[Brie is] worried about his temper. Like a lot of people, she found his sometimes controlling behavior troubling,\u201d a source exclusively told Life & Style<\/em><\/a> in a story published on September 11. \u201cThere were fears things might escalate. The feeling right now is that there\u2019s no going back. Nikki\u2019s looking for a lawyer.\u201d<\/p>\n Later that day, Life & Style<\/em> confirmed that Nikki, 40, filed for divorce<\/a> from Artem after two years of marriage. She requested legal and physical custody of their 4-year-old son, Matteo, in the filing. Artem filed his own paperwork two days later and requested \u201cjoint legal and physical custody<\/a>\u201d of their son.<\/p>\n On September 17, a second insider exclusively told Life & Style<\/em> that there was \u201cno going back\u201d in Nikki and Artem\u2019s marriage, considering that she \u201cdoesn\u2019t even recognize Artem as the man she married.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cNikki and Artem\u2019s relationship was volatile. Like a lot of people, she found his, at times, controlling behavior troubling,\u201d insider No. 2 revealed.<\/p>\n One week later, Napa County District Attorney Allison Haley<\/strong> announced that they were not going to file domestic violence charges<\/a> against the DWTS<\/em> pro because the \u201cevidence [didn\u2019t] rise to this level of proof.\u201d<\/p>\n Brie seemingly shaded Artem<\/a> and implied that he was the aggravator in the situation.<\/p>\n \u201cThe truth always comes out in the end, no matter how hard anyone tries to hide it or stop it. Lies are just a temporary delay to the inevitable,\u201d a quote that Brie shared via Instagram on September 26 read.<\/p>\n Nikki and Artem\u2019s separation has continued to get nasty after the former Total Bellas<\/em> star filed a restraining order<\/a> against the Russia native on September 30. Life & Style<\/em> confirmed the news three days later. In the filing, Nikki claimed that Artem \u201ctackled [her] multiple times and pinned [her] to the ground while [their] child was present.\u201d The court approved the restraining order, and Artem is not allowed to contact Nikki or come \u201cwithin 100 yards\u201d of her.<\/p>\n That said, Artem filed his own restraining order against Nikki<\/a> on October 3, the same day her restraining order was granted<\/a>.<\/p>\n In his filing, Artem claimed that Nikki\u2019s allegations were \u201cfalse.\u201d He also submitted photos of injuries from the alleged fight, where he had visible scratches behind his ear, on the middle finger on his left hand and a scrape on his elbow, as seen in a report by People<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
