Southern Charm<\/strong><\/a><\/em> star Olivia Flowers<\/strong><\/a> is engaged!!!<\/p>\n The 32-year-old former star of the Bravo<\/strong><\/a> reality series got engaged last week to her beau Alex Williams<\/strong>, People<\/em> revealed<\/a>.<\/p>\n Alex <\/strong>popped the question with a four carat Nicole Rose Jewelry <\/em>diamond ring in NYC last Wednesday (September 25) with the help of her parents and weeks of planning.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cOlivia<\/strong> has such an incredible group of friends, from elementary school through to college, and she\u2019s very close with her parents, so I knew involving them somehow would mean a lot to her. I wanted her to feel all the love and the excitement in the world from the surprise of her loved ones,\u201d Alex <\/strong>gushed to People<\/em>. \u201cHer mom Robin<\/strong> had the idea to propose while the four of us would be in New York together, for the Project Lyme Gala Olivia<\/strong> was speaking at.\u201d<\/p>\n Alex <\/strong>started planning the proposal in early September when she left their Dallas home for New York Fashion Week<\/em>, where he then flew to Charleston, South Carolina, to ask her parents for permission!<\/p>\n However, a United Nations meeting in NYC put a small wrench in his proposal plans, but the hotel was accommodating and her brand manager helped with making Olivia<\/strong> think she was going for a photo shoot. <\/p>\n By the afternoon of the proposal, everything was set in place and at 3pm ET, they went up to a hotel room where a photographer was waiting!<\/p>\n \u201cHe is my biggest hype man when it comes to helping me with content so this didn\u2019t seem weird to me, just like a sweet gesture\u2026. he actually got my social media manager involved so I thought this was a brand deal, so I was in work mode,\u201d Olivia<\/strong> shared.<\/p>\n \u201cNext thing I know, Alex<\/strong> is getting grabbing a box out of his sports coat and dropping a knee\u2026 then I drop my phone,\u201d she joked to People<\/em>. \u201cAlex<\/strong> said, \u2018Olivia Barbara Ellen Flowers<\/strong>. You\u2019re the girl of my dreams. Became the love of my life.
