Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong><\/a> is clearing up any doubt that she doesn\u2019t sing live.<\/p>\n

The \u201cTaste\u201d singer, 25, clapped back at a TikTok user who shared a clip<\/a> of Carpenter performing on her Short n\u2019 Sweet Tour<\/em><\/a> and wrote over it, \u201cHate to say it 30% lip singing [sic] 30% backing track 40% singing.\u201d In the video, Carpenter can be seen dancing on stage while her fans sing along to her hit song \u201cPlease Please Please.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carpenter commented on the post on Tuesday, October 1, writing: \u201cI sing live every show 100% would you like to speak to my audio engineers.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pop star has had a whirlwind 2024 so far with her songs \u201cEspresso,\u201d \u201cPlease Please Please\u201d and \u201cTaste\u201d<\/a> all charting inside the top three on the Billboard<\/em> Hot 100. \u201cPlease Please Please\u201d reached No. 1 in June. In September, Carpenter\u2019s album, Short n\u2019 Sweet<\/em>, also topped the Billboard<\/em> 200 album chart<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Carpenter\u2019s good friend Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> also appeared to hit back at claims she doesn\u2019t play live. In June, Foo Fighters\u2019 Dave Grohl<\/strong> seemingly insinuated<\/a> that Swift doesn\u2019t perform live when Swift and the rock band played dueling gigs in London.<\/p>\n

Grohl, 55, joked with the crowd at the London Stadium, \u201cI know we were joking about the Taylor Swift tour earlier. I know that she\u2019s on her Eras Tour<\/em>. I\u2019m telling you, man, you don\u2019t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTaylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter\u2019s friendship has come a long way over the years. Before the pair became the besties they are today, Carpenter was a longtime fan of Swift. Prior to dropping tracks like \u201cNonsense\u201d and \u201cEspresso,\u201d Carpenter posted covers of Swift\u2019s songs on her YouTube page, including \u201cPicture to Burn\u201d and \u201cWhite Horse.\u201d [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He continued, \u201cSo we like to call our tour \u2018The Errors Tour\u2019 because I feel like we\u2019ve had more than a few eras and more than a few f\u2014ing errors as well.\u201d<\/p>\n
